Yes. The bible says in Romans 8: “16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

The Spirit deals with us, and the inner us knows it.

Also, Jesus said in Mt 7: “16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?”

Many teach that Jesus’ death on the cross was just a down payment. We have to work and earn the rest.

if Jesus’ death did not save the believer, then he died in vain as NO ONE can earn their salvation. All our righteous is as filthy rags before the LORD. How can you ever know if you have done enough or is there still more that needs to be done.

When my mom was on her death bead she cried out to her preachers..”I'm afraid I haven't done enough!”

I wanted to yell, “It's not what you have done, It is what CHRIST has done for you!”

Standing on the promises of God!
