Is that in the Bible, because I do not recall seeing it?

The Ressurction of Christ, yes. Assumption of Mary bodily into Heaven. No.

....”Will you be celebrating Easter, as well as celebrating the Assumption of Mary into heaven bodily?”....
Of course not...that's a catholic thing...
I will be celebrating ‘the Resurrection’ of the Biblical Jesus Christ which is a Christian Celebration.

Resurrection of Mary? That’s not biblical.

Later on this year, faithful Christians will also (on August 15th, 2015) celebrate the resurrection of Mary the mother of Jesus (before her body could see decay) and her Assumption into heaven.Really don't need to read beyond this.
There's a lot of "assumption" going on to believe this tripe.
You know what the say about when you assume something.

My last memory form the Bible of Mary was when Jesus put Mary in the hands of one of the Disciples. Am I wrong?

My sainted mother was born in Rome on August 15, 1927, the day of the celebration of the Assumption by my Catholic brethren, and was named Assunta for that day.
I will celebrate the resurrection of Christ without making any presumptions or “assumptions” as to the actual day or date.
And I will be buying half-priced Cadbury eggs the next day, I assume. :-)

This will be my first Easter worship in over 8 years. Recently, I have rediscovered Christ as my personal savior. Though my faith is not catholic, I still praise his resurrection to be my savior.

I will be observing the Feast of the Resurrection on April 12th (Easter on the Traditional Calendar). With regards the Assumption of the Most Holy Theotokos, that is a theologoumenon, although not an especially controversial one. We commemorate the Dormition (or Falling Asleep) of the Virgin Mary on August 15th. The feast is preceded by the traditional two week fast.

You assume a lot if you believe Mary “ascended” to heaven.

Here is an explanation of the feast day of the Assumption of Mary.

I am not a catholic. Nor do I think Mary is any more special than anyone’s mom.
According to this story the assumption of Mary was her body; there was no resurrection.
So...if you want to learn what it’s about...go read the link. It’s from EWTN, so it’s written for easy reading.
