Your comment:”I can understand how Catholics resent being shown the errors of Catholicism. Scripture however demands that we point out those errors rather than simply allow people to remain ignorant of the truth. “

I see no proof of the errors of the teaching of the Catholic Church. Just the folly of someone that believes in opinions contrary to the words of Jesus. I see calumny against the Catholic Church.

Even if the Catholic Church adopted customs of others does not make it pagan. Nor does your saying so. Your comments are considered blasphemous.

“Stop judging,* that you may not be judged.b 2For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you.c 3Why do you notice the splinter in your brother’s eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove that splinter from your eye,’ while the wooden beam is in your eye? 5You hypocrite,* remove the wooden beam from your eye first; then you will see clearly to remove the splinter from your brother’s eye. Matthew 7:1

Just as God warned us about following false gods in Deuteronomy, I often wonder if you follow false gods while rejecting the teachings of the Catholic Church and using the Catholic Bible incorrectly to support your beliefs?

Quoting passages from the Bible does not make one righteous or in agreement with God.

Do you accept any of the teachings of The Catholic Church? The Trinity? Baptism? Final judgment? Forgiveness of sins? Communion of saints?

>>I see no proof of the errors of the teaching of the Catholic Church.<<

I hope you didn't think that would come as a surprise to me. We've shown many errors of Catholic teaching but those who have been indoctrinated by them don't see it. Those that follow Islam don't see the errors either. Neither do those that follow Mormonism. Catholics, Mormons, and Muslims all have their beliefs beyond what scripture teaches.

>>Even if the Catholic Church adopted customs of others does not make it pagan.<<

Let me highlight it for you.

The use of temples, and these dedicated to particular saints, and ornamented on occasions with branches of trees; incense, lamps, and candles; votive offerings on recovery from illness; holy water; asylums; holydays and seasons, use of calendars, processions, blessings on the fields; sacerdotal vestments, the tonsure, the ring in marriage, turning to the East, images at a later date, perhaps the ecclesiastical chant, and the Kyrie Eleison, are all of pagan origin, and sanctified by their adoption into the Church.[Cardinal Newman - Development of Christian Doctrine, pg 373]

>>I often wonder if you follow false gods while rejecting the teachings of the Catholic Church and using the Catholic Bible incorrectly to support your beliefs?<<

Oh it's the Catholic Bible now? No longer God's word? Would you show from scripture where the "oracles of God" were entrusted to the Catholics?

>>Do you accept any of the teachings of The Catholic Church?<<

The Catholic Church has to keep some legitimate beliefs to deceive those that don't know scripture well.

>>The Trinity?<<

Of course.

>>Baptism?<<

Not the way Catholics believe it.

>>Final judgment?<<

For unbelievers? Of course.

>>Forgiveness of sins?<<

Of course. But not through some fake priest.

>>Communion of saints?<<

Not the way Catholics believe it.
