St. Lawrence of Brindisi, pray for us.
St. Pius V, pray for us."
They pray for someone who is dead to pray for them? Why not just pray to God?
"Hige sceal þe heardra, heorte þe cenre / mod sceal þe mare, þe ure mægen lytlað." "Thought must be the harder, heart be the keener / mind must be the greater, as our might lessens." |

And who is to say they are not praying to God?
There is nothing wrong with someone asking another person to pray for them.
There are plenty of instances on this site where people ask for other people's prayers. Entire threads dedicated to asking people to pray for their child who is sick or the spouse who has just received a cancer diagnosis.
It is totally Christian to pray for others, and it is also totally Christian to ask others to pray.
Why would you be so heartless?
Oh ye of little faith...why do you care who they pray to???...afraid that it may work??..not willing to see the truth??...so fixed in your perverted idea of Christianity that you can no longer see the truth??? So jealous of true Christiaanity that you have to make excuses for your lack thereof???
People in heaven aren’t dead, according to Jesus.
