It would be nice if the term "traditional marriage" was never used by sane people. The term implies there's some other type of marriage when there's not. Marriage means one man to one woman. Cardinal Burke refuses to use the term for that exact reason.

As long as the left can make the case that gayness is morally equal to race the 1st amendment doesn’t seem to have a chance.

Television no doubt will become even more pro-homosexual

This is already happening. I have had to give up a number of shows I used to watch as they start promoting more and more homosexual relationships in their cast of characters.

“People who first claimed only to want tolerance of their behavior will allow no toleration for other views.”

As is always with the left, they demand tolerance until they get what they want and then use the iron fist of the government to quash dissent.

Even PBS is guilty of it. I like to Watch “Call the Midwife”, about a 1950s midwife house ran by nurse nuns and regular nurses. Sure enough on the last episode it showed two of the nurses smooching on each other. Every time I get interested in a show it always brings out the homo angle and I quit watching it for that reason. I used to love to watch “Person of Interest”, until the two main female characters, which happen to be two drop dead gorgeous women, turned into lesbians. Hopefully the show will not be renewed for next season.

The new show this season, the one about the Irish family, I was really interested in watching it because Sheldon’s mom was playing the maternal head of the house. But then one of her son’s is gay and all I could think was they are going to build this whole show around what I believe is an unspoken but revolting sexual action which means all references will go into that direction. I watched about five minutes. Is it still on?

Since PBS is controlled by leftist, that should come as no shock.

Before the gays came out of the closet and worked to force us to watch, I remember knowing adults who people thought were, “a little light in the loafers.” One was the best English teacher at my high school. No one hounded him or “discriminated” against him. Now, if he had ever touched one of his students they’d a been all over him. But, no one hunted him down and threatened him with his job if he did not verbally agree that homosexuality was wrong.

Here is an argument that defeats the gay agenda:
To be required to provide basic services to sustain life (food, water, shelter) when that is your declared occupation, OK.
But when it comes to marriage, marriage is a sacrament, which means it is part of our worship of God himself.

Theologians and prelates have discussed and taught how that marriage and family are part of the declaration of who God is and was designed thus by God himself.

Jesus ordained matrimony a sacrament by his profound participation in it by providing nonessential goods, namely, wine, as at a wedding feast at Canaa

Therefor when it comes to providing services of extraneous nature to a “wedding”, including music, treats, decorations, all those services are special because each is potentially a part of the worship service.

Therefor, if a potential service or goods provider deems that the worship is perverted and unworthy in some way they must be free to decline services and goods. Otherwise they are participants in worship which their conscience has disallowed.

How right is it to compel people to worship at the altar of a false God? Or to participate in a type of worship that was actually invented to serve as an act of defiance against God, namely sacramentalizing Sodomy? A Gay “wedding” is a mockery of God.

(Where is Sodom today?)

Since the founding of the country “crime against nature” was a law on the books. No man/boy wants to be hit on by a pervert. That’s why the law was on the books for over 200 years. That’s why homosexuals were not allowed in the military. No normal man wants to be near a homosexual with that homo staring at him like he’s a girl. They were booted from the military because they exhibited conduct not conducive to “good order and disciple”. The military depends on good order and discipline. Along comes the all-knowing Obama who knows more than over 200 years of US military common sense. Now rape has went up in the military because of other men trying to rape other men. And if you voice your displeasure at this nonsense you’ll end up getting court-martialed.

I urge everyone to give up watching television. We need to hit these producers in the pocketbook.

"As long as the left can make the case that gayness is morally equal to race the 1st amendment doesn’t seem to have a chance."

It will be hard for the left to make such a case concerning race imo. This is because the only race-based issue that the states have amended the Constitution to expressly protect is voting rights, evidenced by the 15th Amendment.

I've heard of many blacks who feel that the 4th of July is "white independence" day and that none of it applied to them. So there is a whole big racial constitutional divide in a lot of peoples eyes. It hadn't occurred to me until I heard some black comedian say it.

On a very positive note, there were some 30,000 black pastors who came out against gayness and gay marriage being compared to voting rights or any civil rights for blacks.
