Scripture indicates that the head covering used was not a part of the linen cloth with which He was wrapped but with the more traditional head covering
John 20: 6And so Simon Peter also came, following him, and entered the tomb; and he saw the linen wrappings lying there, 7and the face-cloth which had been on His head,, not lying with the linen wrappings, but rolled up in a place by itself.
John 11:
42"I knew that You always hear Me; but because of the people standing around I said it, so that they may believe that You sent Me." 43When He had said these things, He cried out with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come forth." 44The man who had died came forth, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth.
