I don’t get it. You don’t have to belong. Just quit the team. The religion is not a buffet to take what you like and leave the rest

They should go in peace and join their fellow travelers at the Episcopal Church. That church was founded by the decadent Henry VIII and its followers have remained loyal to its origins by readily accommodating any sort of perversion.

“Holy Father,” the ad reads, “please provide us with a leader true to our values and your namesake.”

Here's a prayer compiled by St Francis (the Pope's namesake) that Archbishop Cordileone can justly pray:

Ant. Holy Virgin Mary.

Ps. 55: 9. O God, I have declared to Thee my life; Thou hast set my tears in Thy sight.

Ps. 40: 8. All my enemies devised evils against me.

Ps. 70: 10. They have consulted together.

Ps. 108: 5. And they have repaid me evil for good and hatred for my love.

Ps. 108: 4. Instead of making me a return of love they detracted me; but I gave myself to prayer.

Ps. 21: 12. My holy Father, King of heaven and earth, depart not from me; for tribulation is near and there is none to help.

Ps. 55: 10. When I cry unto Thee, then shall mine enemies be turned back; behold I know that thou art my God.

Ps. 37: 12. My friends and my neighbors have drawn near and stood against me; and they that were near me stood afar off.

Ps. 87: 9. Thou hast put away my acquaintance far from me; they have set me an abomination to them; I was delivered up and came not forth.

Ps. 21: 20. Holy Father, remove not Thy help far from me: My God, look toward my help.

Ps. 37: 23. Attend unto my help, O Lord, the God of my salvation, ...

Dear Head of the Catholic Church, our bishop is behaving too much like a Catholic. Please fire him.

When liberals smell blood in the water we know what happens. The Catholic Church is on wobbly legs and the left is pushing the envelope as far as they can to break it. I remember when the church started saying mass in English rather than in Latin a bunch of the old timers were saying that was the beginning of the end of the Catholic Church. They said there would be big changes and they were glad they wouldn’t be around to see it. Well, that was over forty years ago and all of them are long gone, but they have been proven to be right.

Do these people actually think the Pope is going to read their advertisement?

A wise, old priest friend of mine was demoted from his large parish because the lib nuns wanted to use some religious textbooks that were inappropriate and the lib nun superintendent of the diocesan schools convinced the bishop that he needed to go and so he got canned.

He was given another parish in a small town without a school. He did flourish though and his flock were some of the best trained Catholics I ever knew as a group.

He took his situation to the Vatican and after a bit he was told that the diocese had no right to deprive him of his parish. The diocese was supposed to give him his parish back or one of similar size and make-up (with a school) but the diocese never contacted him about it.

He called the bishop up and confronted him and found out that they had no intention of moving him from his little parish. In the end he decided he liked his little flock so he stayed there and retired from there.

What people seem to forget, maybe conveniently, is that the priest or bishop or archbishop is totally responsible before God for his actions within his domain. Of course, some people don't respect that, they think that what a position gives you is POWER, but what it really does is give you tremendous RESPONSIBILITY.

The good archbishop is doing the job he was called to do to watch over the spiritual development of those he is responsible for.

Tom Brady Sr. and the other 99 will be held to account for their actions.

This is hilarious, because these un-Catholic “Catholic leaders” as they call themselves, were totally upstaged by a grassroots efforts to *support* the Archbishop.

That resulted in 36,000 signatures of support.

360 *times* the number of these leftist-liberal un-Catholics.

Holy Father,” the ad reads, “please provide us with a leader true to our values and your namesake.”

Well Mr Brady, God’s values are those free of sin and his tolerance for the homosexual sinner was dsiplayed with Sodom and Gomorrah

Maybe a leaders of religious groups shouldn’t be sanctioned for upholding the doctrines of that group? That was the old America. In the new, fundamentally transformed, America, religions have to conform to what’s trending on Twitter.

I didn't know that St. Francis supported gay marriage, pornography, and fornication. You learn something new every day. /sarc

They see PopeFrank waver and make public statements in favor of gays, so they attempt to push him in their direction....however, God has firm control of His church and will not allow it. The Church is God’s, not theirs. They are fools.

It sounds like Mr. Brady would like to have deflated Churches like some people wanted deflated footballs.
