That same title could be applied to most, if not all, of the western nations.

The French Revolution (1789) certainly took its toll on the aristocracy, but people forget how much it also decimated the clergy. The French Revolution was heavily against the Catholic Church and France has never recovered.

So many intelligent people don't understand a simple characteristic of human nature. We *WANT* to believe in a a higher power. Without one, our existence becomes listless, pointless, and full of chaos.
Atheists are lethargic. They are no match for Islam. Islam will kick their @$$E$ because you can't fight a belief with a Non-Belief.
They are going to get a religion whether they like it or not. If they don't want Christianity, they are going to get a very Demanding Islam. They won't like the trade after it's happened, but by then it will be way too late to do anything about it.
Non religious is not an option.

You’ll know when the Islamization of France is done ,there will be fighting in the streets

"They were part of a nihilistic drift in France, which we inherited from the revolutions of May 1968 and which has spawned a generation of spoiled and immature individuals, doomed to follow the idolatries of the age. The Charlie spirit which they represented and which their followers today celebrate does nothing but drag society down with its derision, vulgarity, and heresies, and offend the rest of us with the violence of its anti-clericalism and its ideological bias. There is no beauty there. It is devoid of subtlety, decency, delicacy, spirituality, and civility."
The same could be said of today's American left, the aging veterans, children, and even grandchildren of the 1960s New Left.
