And just where is the Holy Spirit in your religion and what does HE do in your economy? I don’t recall ever seeing you mention Him or attributing to Him any of His work. It all gets attributed to the Catholic church.

Good grief...The Holy Spirit does not come down nowadays and sit on our heads in the form of a tongue of fire nor a dove....He speaks through the Catholic church as He has done from the beginning. I attribute everything done by the Catholic church to the inspiration of Christ and the Holy Spirit.....I didn't think that it was necessary to point out that a 2,000 year old institution didn't get there on its own. The Sacraments, the Eucharist, infallible proclamations....all done through the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit.....hence, infallible.And....they are the sole institution on Earth to be directly guided by Him.....the only one.

Psalm 100:3 Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture

so much more tasteful than calling God "it"...nevertheless, God does not have a sex.

“in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” are not Yeshua’s words

What were Yeshua's words??

Does that include telling the church to elect three popes at once?

Does that mean that you have to believe EVERYTHING the church tells you, even when it contradicts itself?

So in Catholic economy, the Holy Spirit doesn’t indwell the individual believer as Scripture clearly states?

When I first was under conviction before I got saved, the guy at work who was witnessing to me was a real jerk. NOBODY liked him, and yet, I KNEW that what he was saying was the truth.

I think I knew him and you were right....he was a jerk and lied to you.....anyone who leads you away from Christ is lying to you....unbelieve him.

basically the entire Christian Church for the first sixteen or seventeen centuries... for the first 16 or 17 centuries would be Catholic....no one else there.....very lonely Don’t tell that to the Eastern Orthodox :)

The schism, disastrous as it was, was not a departure from Catholicism...both are in communion with one another, both are protected by the Holy Spirit, and the basic difference is in the leadership role....soon to be overcome I believe...

being as none of them were Catholics. Neither am I. I am a member of the only true church, the one the helps me navigate

You stated that only true Christians would be in Heaven and I merely pointed out that a lot of people who weren't Christians at all would be in HEAVEN. I knew that Moses wasn't Catholic (would have been has he been born a little later)...but your statement that only Christians would be in Heaven floored me.

There is clearly no room for the Holy Spirit in Catholicism. They’ve assigned the “magisterium” the job and it has now replaced Him. They attribute all the work of the Holy Spirit to a committee.

If you are going to join a church, or if you are going to leave a church, you should have a basic idea of what it teaches....you have no concept of Catholicism at all if that is what you believe.....none.

Now, a simple yes or no question..... Was Jesus a male?

Of course He was...penis and all, but the question was attributing that physical characteristic to God the Father....I don't think it applies, nor do I think that it is important....God is a spiritual being, angels are spiritual beings, and there is no need to see them undressed....

>> “magnificent cathedrals” << Palaces of Lucifer!

Nah...places built to further Christianity...people couldn't read but they could understand pictures on stained glass windows, could be taught using statuary, could be taught in an assembly listening to the word....and they were. For centuries, this is how the word was transmitted...and guess what...everybody knew what they were and respected them as houses of God, which they were.

Lucifer didn't like them at all, while the people were singing songs of praise and listening to the scriptures, they weren't falling under his spell...

You think vacant lots are better ?????

His Sun , moon and stars were made on His 4th day. Not sure where you get that I allude to the Sun being there on His 1st day.

Testing and proving all things and sharing those findings is a sensitive issue.

You have doctrines that are deeply held and anythng that runs counter to them, are rejected very quickly.
You and your rabbi teachers have cornered the market on ‘truth’ in your eyes.

I now know why the Messiah used 30fold, 60fold and 100fold with His Parable of the sower and how it relates to Israel’s delivrance.

That is why pope Gregory Moon day, may 4th, isa 7th day Sabbath on His calendar and the 15th day of His 2nd month (exodus 16).
The day His people camped, 30 days after their deliverance.
And what came next is what we desire - manna from heaven.

I suspect some know this. I doubt many Christians do..
What a blessing..
That may seem ‘pathetic’ to those who know all things but to me, who knows nothing without Him telling me, it is a blessing.

The world can enjoy their Moon day.
I am gping to rejoice and be glad and no thousand of years ago, Israel was on the journey that we all get to take everyday.

Some are waysiders, some are rocky, some are thorns..
Some 30/60/100..

Tomorrow marks the 30..
And no mattet what judaism or christianity says, there is nothing that hits on the 50th like they saynthe church was ‘birthed’ on it.

That day is really after 100 days after deliverance when Moses came down with the tables of the covenant and 3000 people were killed. Unlike the blessing of the Holy Spirit and the 3000 saved on that pentecost in Acts..

That probably sounds pathetic too.

I am okay with that!

I have attended wonderful services in a brush arbor. If people go to church for the building, then they have the wrong attitude. Jesus did not do that.

Well, let me say this about that. First of all, your definition of "Christian " or "believer" and mine, are probably light years apart, so I can see where we have disagreement. So be it. Old Testament saints, Moses, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, were saved by "faith" (oops, there's that word again) exactly the same way New Testament saints are saved. Old Testament saints had "faith" in God, that a savior would come. New Testament saints are saved by "faith" in the savior that has already come. Now, it's possible that your definition of faith and mine, once again, are light years apart. So be it. Old Testament believers and New Testament believers are saved EXACTLY the same way, by "faith" this is what Jesus meant, in my infallible interpretation, 😇 when He said you must be born again. Even Peter, the first Pope (not) said there was no other name given under Heaven. My opinion is, I can see the wheels turning in your head, like these people think they can get saved by faith, and then live like Hell. This has been explained to you and many others about 3,975 times. Let me give a one word answer for the 3,976th time. NO it can't be done. Now, you may or may not agree, or even like the explanation, So be it.

There are, of course, a number of us former, wayward, apostate Catholics, who are comfortable in our skin. Praise God for that. 😎 Get used to it, I am sure it will not change anytime soon. I am not interested in swimming across any rivers today. It's ok with me, whatever you choose to believe. That's on you. Have a nice eternity. See you at the pearly gates, maybe. 😇

"In contrast, the Catholic Church, the Church that Christ founded, offers a rich and non-contradictory body of Sacred Teaching that can be found on-line in the Catechism of the Catholic Church."

Which the Catholic revers as Sola Scriptura to the rejection of Canon

Nope. Try re-reading what I wrote.

I begin to understand why the Catholic church doesn't let it's constituents interpret Scripture for themselves.
