A return to sanity will manifest government returning to its proper sphere.
Fascism is a sort of bad medicine—if your nation is falling apart, going down the toilet and looks doommed, you can take the Fascism pill. It works because it will reverse the downward sprial, get people to work and march, all in uniform. Its a Nationalistic diotribe—with music, flags and a resurgence of national will. It always has a centeral figure—who takes the title of “The Leader”—and digs into the deep cultural past of its nation—some of that can be negatves like Anti-Semetism. Hitler’s Nazi Germany was an aboration of Fascism—a fascism on steroids. Other nations have taken the poison pill and done well—as far as it goes—Spain is a good example, Italy, Argentina (Evita and Juan Peron were fascist) —But it has bad side effects! Wars of agression, pogoms of enemies, death. BUT its never permanent—it always dies out in time—Its dies with the Leader—Franco, Evita, Stalin, and the states revert back to a form of democracy.
