My questions pertain to the tribulation they are as follows:
1. If there is a rapture, does it happen before or after people start receiving the mark of the beast?
2. If before is there some event that happens prior to receiving the mark of the beast?
I'm not looking to debate if there is or isn't a rapture, just where in the progression of events people are forced to receive the mark of the beast and we move to a cashless world.

it matters in this sense, if people believe they will raptured before the mark, and it hasn’t hppened by then they’ll be pissed.
Me I do not believe there is a rapture, as I stated, 250 teenage christian girls were beheaded for refusing to convert to Islam, why should I believe I will not have give the same measure.
I have been doing a lot of private study on this recently.
I have learned there are Pre-Trib, Mid-Trib, and Post-Trib Rapture believers, and variations of same. There appear to be as many different flavors of belief as there are Protestant denominations.
What I have observed is this:
* The Rapture is not mentioned by name in the Bible. It is alluded to, and extrapolated, by many denominations.
* America is not mentioned in Scripture, whether by allusion or allegory.
* The apparent timeline depends on which interpretation of Daniel, Matthew or Revelations is cited.
*IF the arguments are accepted, and IF all agree, the timeline appears to me to be thus:
- Rapture;
- First appearance of The Beast; (First Seal Judgment);
- War against his authority (Second/Third/Fourth Seal Judgments);
- Punishment of those who defied The Beast (martyrs) (Fifth Seal Judgment);
- Natural disaster on a global scale (Sixth Seal Judgment);
- “Silence in Heaven for half an hour” (Seventh Seal judgment )(this one I don’t get);
Then come the Trumpet then the Bowl Judgments, you know the rest.
thx again Travis McGee
That’s why so many need the fly away doctrine security blanket. God said he was against that doctrine in the OT.
thx for the link, I glanced thru it and will read later.
If all believers are taken via the rapture, who would be converting the non-believers?
Well IF they don`t, then don`t expect me to feed or share my ammo with them, they`d probably be so disillusioned and broken they`ll be useless anyway.
Like that shyster in the 1800s who predicted the end of the world, his followers sold everything, joined him and waited. When the day passed, some of his sheeple actually committed suicide, they were so flipped out.
thx lostboy61, if you read what I have posted I do not believe there is a rapture for exactly the reason you have stated. why should I dodge to sword when 250 teenage girls stood tall at the gates of hell and served the Lord.
there is an order of events, my mindset is there is no rapture
Well, as a resident Jew, I want you to know that I wish you all the very best, and if it doesn’t turn out well you can come hang out with me and my bad ass Sikh buddies who tell the funniest Moslem jokes.
That is reasonable.
I’ve seen people buying stuff in target by having their phones scanned. This was a year ago.
I believe we meet Christ in the clouds at the time of his coming to earth. Everything happens at once (a twinkling of the eye). His return, our meeting him in the air, judgement, destruction of the earth. There is no 7 year period of non believers languishing on earth.
Your post made me think of something. What if all the people today with all the tattoos confuse the beast.
“The believers will all be converted since the rapture.”
what’s that mean?
Good bit of study! Keep in mind, what starts the tribulation is the Jewish covenant with the Anti-Christ (Daniel 9 and Isaiah 28). It is in the Middle of the 7 year agreement that he breaks the covenant and the Jews with understanding flee to Petra (Revelation 12 and Michah 2:12). I hope we are raptured before this covenant, but it is possible...
“The believers will all be converted since the rapture.”
by what means? If all the believers are gone, who’s going to witness to the non believers?
This is not a believable option and I think we Christians create a scenario where we escape all the difficulties by being raptured before things hit the fan. It’s just not going to happen. Just like the people of Israel did not suffer the plagues, but they never left either; we will be sanctified and protected, but not removed.
