Serious theologically minded people can see what has happened. The very decision itself was basically kicked off with an assertion that rhymes with original sin. Scalia with his ever brilliant wit said he’d put his head in a bag if he had to say something like that to get a consensus.

Exactly. This is where the rubber will meet the road. Those churches willing to give up the funds will stay true; others will not. The choice will be the same choice 2000 years ago: God or mammon.
Since the majority of “churches” in my area are mega churches I totally believe they will stay 501c3 and go along. Those places costs millions, have full schools and rec centers, etc. They won’t sacrifice any money. They’ll sacrifice their so-called “values”.
The verdict that mattered happened 2000 years ago.
Now if you insist on being a worldling, things like this court’s guff now begin to look dispositive.
Those who actually begin living out their faith (and many more will be forced to do it, the world’s rug being pulled out from under them) will see this is not abstract theological theorizing. They will start to see a Spirit of Victory prevailing very oddly against the prince of this world in their own lives.
But you have to want to do it. If the world is your support, no go.

Vote for Christ in your heart... start believing in His seemingly impossible promises (which are not really impossible, but the world keeps droning on that they are).

Not true. Churches should be exempt because they are doing the Lord’s work. Do you think being a for profit business will shield them from having to marry Sodomites? Ask the cake company in Oregon...or the bed and breakfast in Colorado...

There is a big difference between tax regulators making demands of a 501c3 and someone having to sue a for-profit.
It’s “NICE” if they can be and the Lord may yet grant it in grace... but if it leads to dictums about what they must do, then they should let it go. Leave it behind. It did not stop the Lord from blessing with the needed grace many decades ago and it won’t now.
What is scary, is that all of the good conservative God fearing leaders in our military have slowly been replaced by Sodomite supporters. If there were a Patton or a Macarthur, he wouldn’t last 10 minutes in our “Brave New Military”...

Discussed this issue with my parish priest today, prior to the announcement, he told me he would go to jail before performing a same sex marriage.

Watch for them now go after your churches on the basis of not performing legal marriages. They will remove all the churches ability to perform state sanctioned marriages based on discrimination.
Next will be discrimination based on employee benefits and ‘legal’ employee marriages.

They will financially ruin you.
The Catholic church will capitulate. It’s on the verge right now.

The Lord told the Prophet Joseph Smith almost 200yrs ago about this and what the Latter-day Saints should do in order to endure this incredible hardship. Just like He did Noah.
You can choose not to believe this, but it’s happening right in front of your eyes.
