After a point doing my research, the truth of what you posted became clear, then it became obvious.

I guess I'm one of the gullible and I'm okay with that. I am finding the Truth I set out to find.

I don't think you're being gullible at all- Jesus said:

Behold I send you as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be ye therefore wise as serpents and simple as doves. Matthew 10:16.

You're opening yourself to God's Grace and seeking the Truth- that's a beautiful thing. It's a bumpy road, but stay on it and pray for guidance, and God won't let you down, even in times like these!
