Your anecdote of fractured catechesis does not a truism make. Does posting an UNfractured one show Catholic Teaching correctly?

Catechism of the Catholic Church
969 "This motherhood of Mary in the order of grace continues uninterruptedly from the consent which she loyally gave at the Annunciation and which she sustained without wavering beneath the cross, until the eternal fulfillment of all the elect. Taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation. . . . Therefore the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the Church under the titles of Advocate, Helper, Benefactress, and Mediatrix."

When I was a catholic, it was not as though I didn't like being called a Christian, I just didn't think I was good enough to be called a Christian.
WHAT??!!??
Being 'Catholic' was bad for your self-esteem???

But this is where you lose me; that we are still saved even if we dont feel sorry for our sins?Perhaps it's like Paul stated when he said, "...For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate...."
Even though we can <>HATE! the things we once did; the DAMNED longing to do them again manages to creep into our thought processes and bedevil us!

In what way do the Nicolaitans resemble the Catholic Church?
Perhaps some insight??? (or not...)
Another opinion, favoured by a number of authors, is that, because of the allegorical character of the
Apocalypse, the reference to the Nicolaitans is merely a symbolic manner of reference.
[3] As a symbolic reference, the "teaching of the Nicolaitans" refers to dominating the people, compared to the "teaching of
Balaam" which refers to seducing the people. John, the author of
Revelation, discusses domination within the church in
3 John 9-11.
[8] Such a teaching would contradict "...But whoever would be great among you must be your servant,"
Matthew 20:26.

This is what we mean by an increase in Grace. Can a Catholic tell when their 'grace' has reached the necessary point for salvation?

I'll go with Jesus and what he actually said.
John 6:28-29
Then they asked him, What must we do to do the works God requires?
Jesus answered, The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.

The consecrated piece of bread is called a host. Why?
To me; a 'host' is something a parasite saps the life force from.

That is why the Mass is always a re-presentation of the Last Supper. And the Last Supper was a YEARLY meal of remembering the Jews escape from Egypt.

But, it is my opinion. AHHHhhh...
We all have opinions; but usually we have some basis for them.
Our Pope is the worst I've seen in my lifetime.
Can I ask, "Compared to what?"

Jesus’ ability to perform miracles does not translate into an ability to break, violate, or annul the Law.
The premise that Catholics like to use of *God can do anything.....* is a false premise.
God CANNOT do everything or anything.

By the way, I would argue this religious forum and the way its operated is a major reason why people wont donate. Then people need to grow up.
Trying to blackmail the site owner into complying with their idea of how FR should be run by withholding donations, holding him hostage with money, is reprehensible.
If people don't like the RF, they don't have to click on it. Nobody is putting a gun to anyone's head to read it.

Let me know when (if) you ever get an answer.
Actually, they don’t which is what holds them hostage to the system.
