The first Abomination of Desolation occurred in 167 BCE when Antiocus placed a statue of Zeus in the Holy Temple in Jerusalem. That was the Second Temple. You can read about how it came to be built in Ezra and Nehemiah.
Are you saying that just because your reading between the lines in Daniel 9 that the Third Temple should not be built, because evil might desecrate it?

A red Heifer. It was essential for sanctifying the temple for worship. A heifer is a female cow. There has not been one since the 2nd temple was destroyed. Hence, no way to sanctify the temple if they did build one.

The perfectly red is a symbol of the perfect blood. In shedding the blood of the red heifer and consuming her completely with fire and her ashes sprinkled upon the temple site, the Jews connect to Messiah’s empowerment ... they believe.
The temple era ended with Jesus. A 100% replica of one of the temples can be built, and a hundred red heifers used, but it would have to be consecrated by God to be his temple, and that will not happen.
Read the last part of Revelation, and focus upon the Kingdom during the 1000 years of Christ’s reign upon the Earth.

I believe we have been in the “last days” for a little over 2,000 years...
and the building blocks have been living in the Temple...

The Ark is hidden in the Temple Mount and will be revealed at the proper time.
Also, not to start a big stink, but I should point out that most traditional Torah authorities don't approve of the Temple Institute.

Read Acts 21. Someone forgot to tell Paul, James, and myriads of the followers of Messiah that the “Temple era” had ended.
Kind of like when Moses crushed the colored (golden)cow idol into ashes in the wilderness when He came down the mount 40 days after Israel had just witnessed the thunder and smoking of Mt. Sinai, where they heard the law..
40 short days after hearing and seeing all that, and they were already breaking His Commandments, the idol commandment.
3,000 Israelites lost their life that chag/Feast according to Scripture..
We have a nice parallel in Acts where 3,000 souls were saved on that same chag/Feast after Yahshua’s resurrection.
A blessing to see the sacrifice for all sin has been paid. By His perfect Son, our High Priest.
The curtain hiding the Holy of Holies was split apart when Jesus died. That was the spiritual ending. The Holy of Holies, where God dwelt, was the purpose of the temple. Paul went there because that is where people still went who were not Christian. The temple was literally obliterated in 70 AD as Jesus predicted. That was its physical ending.

Psalm 27:5 “For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.”
Jesus told His disciples in the Olivet discourse that a third temple was the place the abomination that makes desolate will perform. There will be a third temple, you can count on it.
