Is This the End of Christianity in the Middle East?

...The future of Christianity in the region of its birth is now uncertain. ‘‘How much longer can we flee before we and other minorities become a story in a history book?’’ says Nuri Kino, a journalist and founder of the advocacy group Demand for Action. According to a Pew study, more Christians are now faced with religious persecution than at any time since their early history. ‘‘ISIL has put a spotlight on the issue,’’ says Anna Eshoo, a California Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives, whose parents are from the region and who advocates on behalf of Eastern Christians. ‘‘Christianity is under an existential threat.’’

Wishful thinking on the Slimes part (that it is the end of Christianity in the Middle East).

Is This the End of Christianity in the Middle East?

Ah, no....The future holds promise that Christianity will be around for a long time in the Middle East.

Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.

Actually....

It’s the beginning of the END for Muslims, Atheists, Agnostics, Buddhists, Christians in Name Only, Jews who don’t wake up, and Pagan Earth Worshippers.

Soon, the Middle East will be nothing but Christians living there. Sure, it’ll be bloody as hell between now and then, but it’s destined to happen no matter what TPTB want.

The future of Christianity in the region of its birth is now uncertain.

In that region? Inside of a decade, I bet in certain parts of America, Christians will be hunted down for sport. The Muslims will DESTROY this country. As if we haven't brought the destruction on ourselves, with our trust in the twin-faced idol of the GOP and Democrat parties. We've bowed down to politics when we should have bowed down to the Creator of the Universe. Now we will get it, good and hard.

True enough, it will be all Christians...... except for that time when sin will arise again for a short time and Satan will deceive many at the end of the thousand years. Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison...

+1
And he will deceive more at that point in time than are currently deceived today if you can believe that!

No, because with persecution, the church always grows.

Hmmm.... it says that “the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.” I never thought about this before but that expression ‘sand of the sea’ is found in two other places in scripture.

The first is when an angel of the Lord is talking to Abraham Genesis 22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

The second is at the end of evening when Jacob is wrestling with an angel of the Lord Genesis 32:12

12 And thou saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.

So in the cases of Abraham and Jacob, the promise is that their descendants will be a great people of virtually infinite size. And in the other case in Revelation, the number of those who will be deceived and burnt up will be virtually infinite in size.

This is one infinity minus another infinity....

Gives new meaning to Matthew 7: 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Revelation 6
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Maybe those souls under the altar will not have to wait too much longer.

I agree!

We’re all going to find out one day just how narrow that gate is. Most people are willingly deceived.
