Know the lurkers and leftists make monitoring difficult, but they can be learning about conservatism. And conservatives should disagree on points. We can always learn from each other too.

The way things have been going in our country, I really have to wonder if God might be trying to get through to us that we need to come up with a different approach. I’m 51 years old, about to turn 20 years sober, and sick of trying the same old boilerplate head-banging against the brick wall of electoral pointlessness that I’ve been giving much thought to finding where the founders MAY have failed to put firewalls in our original documents. If some heresy gets me attacked here, that’s tough. But ruling out rigorous debate is as anti-American as we can get. God bless you, Jim, and God bless Free Republic, and God help our country.
