When the Rapture of the Church finally takes place - in which Almighty God the Son calls out His body (saints and ambassadors) - it (The Rapture) will be a wondrous sign unto the apostate western world more so than a sign unto the whole world. For all had better be prepared, for Almighty God's "Day of Wrath" is now at hand (2 Thess. 2:3-12)!
The official commencement of this horrific seven year period will be the breaking of the 1st seal (i.e., the "Confirming of the Covenant" - Dan. 9:27) by Almighty God’s Lamb (i.e., The Lord Jesus Christ) in Heaven (Rev. 6:1). It is at this precise moment that the man of lawlessness (i.e., the anti-Christ) will be revealed unto the entire world (Dan. 9:27, 2 Thess. 2: 3-12). This revealing of the Anti-Christ and the commencement of this seven year tribulation period will begin when this man (i.e., the Prince which is to come) adds his human position of great power and authority to a covenant against Israel with an abundance of peoples and nations (Ezek. 38:8,11-12, Dan. 9: 27).

The Bible indicates that prior to the great “taking up” of the church and what follows, that among other things, the EU or some hybrid of it will have formed thirteen nations in Europe (a kind of revived Roman Empire).
Did you see Terminator 2? Remember near the end when the liquid/metallic guy freezes and then shatters under liquid hydrogen. So the other guys are sort of walking around in relief, but meanwhile no one notices that the shattered pieces are melting and rolling slowly together again to reform this liquid/metallic guy.
That’s kind of how I see this. All the elements for the End are slowly and quietly being assembled, while the world carries on in its usual way just like Jesus said. It is a good time to be saved and a good time to let our lights shine so others can be be saved.

It adds insult to the injury when they, on average, don`t even try to maintain any appreciable larder for any future hardships. At some point the AC will come along with his 'mark' and demand loyalty to him by receiving the MOTB, or people will no longer be able to buy or sell without it. We are headed there, it is only a question of when?

Well, I don’t think Revelation is written so that non-believers will “get it”, since it isn’t really meant for them. They need to be worrying about their salvation, and then maybe they can try to fathom the other mysteries.
I totally believe that the False Prophets are the Muslims. Anyway how I believe that this will all come together we are going to see an Army like we have not seen in Modern times gang up and try and wipe Israel off the face of the Earth and that Army will be defeated. The hero of that Battle will be the Anti Christ and he will imitate Christ and cause the world to believe that Christianity was wrong from the beginning. But before that happens Babylon will fall and that missle will come from Persia as the Scriptures predict. Babylon will turn out to be New York City.

What does the Lamb mean when He tells Laodicea in Revelation 3:18, to buy from Him gold refined by fire?
Literal buying of gold? Or symbolic buying? Is it possible to use that same symbolic meaning in Revelation 3 for later on in the same book?
I think it is a fair question one could ask..

The King of Kings ‘sold’ ideas about the Kingdom that people rejected. Real Truth. Maybe in the end people reject the selling of that Truth too, especially if it doesnt come from their religious leaders in beastly babylon,who have their own truth to sell.
Would a Christian listen to a non christian if there was Truth revealed about the King that went against the church teachings?
Just like the sign of ownership and obedience to the God of Israel is placed on the hand and forehead of His people who obey His Commandments (Deuteronomy 6:8), the enemy places His mark on his people in the same place. But that mark is a sign of ownership to the enemy and disobedience to the God of Israel.
