Mothers, stop murdering your/our/God's children.

Of course every woman who has an abortion is a mother...killing your child doesn't un-mother you. It just makes you a Mom who killed her child or children.

Mothers have killed over 1.34 Billion people, just since 1980. That is more people than all of the world's wars and health epidemics throughout all of history, combined...all killed in just 34 short years.

The deadliest place in the world for a person is now in their own mother's womb. The one place people should be the most protected.

How's that for the "fairer gender," eh!?

Mothers are the only entity in the world who can legally murder and murder they do. 1 in 3 women in the USA will kill, at least, 1 child in her life...that's 1 in 3 women...not mothers. Think about that, next time you're at a public gathering. 1/3 of the women you're standing with are likely killers...very likely indeed.

Why excerpt this blog? Get the message out to more folks.

1. God’s plan for each human life starts BEFORE birth.

The Bible paints a beautiful picture of God’s delicate handiwork in the womb. We are loved by Him and He has a plan for each of us even before birth. One of the many beautiful pictures of this in the Bible is when John the Baptist “leaped inside his mother’s womb” when the news of Jesus was announced. The Bible gives countless examples of God’s unique calling on a person’s life from before their birth.

“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb.” Jeremiah 1:5

2. Life begins at conception.

The Bible alludes to this in many way. One verse (below) refers to the Father (not the Mother) being the one who “gave life,” which is a direct reference to the moment of conception being the start of life as opposed to the moment of birth.

“Listen to your father, who gave you life, and don’t despise your mother when she is old.” Proverbs 23:22

3. Abortion is murder*.

Abortion causes physical pain the unborn child and it literally stops a beating heart. If the end of a heartbeat marks a death, then why don’t we measure the start of a life by the beginning of a heartbeat? Even in the Bible, the intentional or unintentional killing of a “fetus” was a criminal offense. In the Old Testament, causing the death or serious injury of a pregnant mother OR an unborn child was punishable by death.

“If people are fighting and hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely but there is no serious injury, the offender must be fined whatever the woman’s husband demands and the court allows. But if there is serious injury, you are to take life for life” Exodus 21:22-23

* If YOU have had an abortion, please know that God loves you, He is for you and He desires to bring healing and hope to replace your pain. His grace is bigger than our biggest sins.

4. EVERY life is precious to God.

In some instances, abortion has become a way of selective breeding. We terminate lives who don’t fit with our cultural preferences. For instance, children with Downs Syndrome are aborted at an alarming rate. The Bible teaches us that God values the sanctity and beauty of every human life, and we should do the same.

“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Your works are wonderful; I know that well.” Psalm 139:13

5. It’s our responsibility to speak up for the unborn.

I rarely write about anything political, because I believe the family (not the government) is the foundation for society. This is not just a political issue, but a moral outrage and we should all take action to defend the cause of the unborn. I believe we will each be held accountable by God for what we did (or didn’t do) when it came to defending the rights of the unborn. When we value the lives of the unborn, we value humanity itself. When we remain silent, we give away a part of our own humanity in the process.
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.” Proverbs 31:8

Job 39:13-17

Gavest thou the goodly wings unto the peacocks? or wings and feathers unto the ostrich? Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust, And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them. She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear; Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.

No doubt at all. Abortionists act contrary to nature.

Well, I’ll comment on the content not the presentation and I did enjoy the article. Despite 3 Old Testament quotes, are even authentic Orthodox Jews pro-life in the same way, Christians are? I am sorry, but at least, a lot of the Judaic view seems to vary from the Christian view. This is not being critical, just read up on it or talk to an Orthodox Jew.

Despite this being from Slate who I don’t think is always left wing, they sure are not Salon, note this quote:

“The case of Lieberman vs. Medved bears a certain resemblance to the joke. On one side we have the Democratic vice-presidential nominee Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman, an Orthodox Jew, who supports a woman’s right to have an abortion. He told Larry King, on his show, that Jewish law is so deeply divided on the issue that even among Orthodox Jews it may be construed as “a personal matter.” On the other side we have conservative radio host Michael Medved, also an Orthodox Jew, who derides Lieberman for distorting Jewish thought. The law is clear, Medved wrote in the Wall Street Journal: Orthodox Judaism “sanctions abortion only when the life of the mother is directly threatened.”

http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/culturebox/2000/08/what_do_orthodox_jews_think_about_abortion_and_why.html

While there are pro-choice Christians as well, I think they are very much in a distinct minority.

.
That baby did not get into that womb by itself — the “fairer” gender shares her guilt with a sperm donor for murdering a human.

As a Christian (and a pastor), I’ve never seen abortion as a “political” issue, but rather as a moral crisis.

WHAT?

Where's he BEEN for 42 years???

I'd like to thank the United States Government for protecting me and my kind.

You see, 40 years ago, my odds of making it out of the egg, alive, were very poor; about 80% of us died.

But a lady discovered our plight and wrote a book that addressed our problem,
and, in 1972, a law was ammended protecting us even further. (http://www.fws.gov/midwest/eagle/protect/laws.html)

What I find strange is that the same government passed a law the very next year that allowed for killing
of unborn, and apparently unwanted, humans.  Little ones still nestled safely in their Mother's womb.
Around 25% of them are dying before birth - on average nearly 3,300 - every day of the year.

I hear that by now, somewhere around 55 MILLION of them have perished.
Wouldn't that kind of mess up the humans plans for growth, and welfare, and
retirement?

Strange birds; these Homo Sapiens.  Perhaps they'll come to their senses
before they are ALL dead!
