Another stereotype. We do not worship Mary we ask for prayers. Get over your stereotypes of Catholics.

There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.

Mary is dead. She cannot hear you. She cannot see you. She cannot do anything for you. Her time on Earth is over. Were she able to hear and respond to you she would shout: "Talk to my Son!".

How to you explain Moses and Elijah at the Tranfiguration with Peter watching as Christ conversed with Moses who died? Peter saw it then it was eventually written down for all to read . So Moses was dead as he was talking to Jesus? Huh! All who are dead can’t hear? Hello?

Now look closely at Mark 12:26-27:

“But concerning the dead, that they rise, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the burning bush passage, how God spoke to him, saying, “I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living. You are therefore greatly mistaken.”

Matthew 17:1-8
And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him. Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

Yep. They were still dead. Not once did Jesus say, “Why don’t you boys pray to Moses?” “How ‘bout that Elijah dude? He can certainly help when I am not around.” The dead have gone to the place of departed spirits and are awaiting the resurrection. They have no part in the living any longer. Did Moses or Elijah interact with Peter? Did they even acknowledge him? When Peter offered to build an alter there, what did Jesus say? Spend some time pondering that.

Keep trying to stretch your Catholic nonsense and have it exposed for the heresy that it is.

Look at the context. God is the God of the living, the spiritually living. Those who denied the resurrection were challenging Jesus about the absurdidty of marriage as it pertains to the Levitical law of brothers who died without issue. Marriage belongs to those alive on Earth, not in Heaven. The context has NOTHING to do with communicating across the life/death boundary.

The communication is for pray only. We are to be imitators of Christ as Paul tells us. Nothing wrong with asking for pray. Yes. You can test the spirit according to the Apostle John in his writings. You just don’t see it.

The communication is for pray only.

Then you are calling Pope Pius IX a liar?

We are to be imitators of Christ as Paul tells us.

When did Christ pray to anyone other than the Father?

Nothing wrong with asking for pray.

There is when it is to anyone other than God.

Yes. You can test the spirit according to the Apostle John in his writings. You just don’t see it.

I see lots of things. Catholicism has fallen into apostacy with numerous heretical teachings. Who has your loyalty? The Pope or Christ? Fundamental question that you must answer to the satisfaction of Him who is the author and finisher of your salvation. When someone points out the error in something being taught, search the scriptures. If what is being taught is not there, abandon it. Rome is filled with pagan rituals and heresies. They once were the body of Christ, but no longer.

Not quite. Lots of theologians debate what Christ revealed in the transfiguration, among them, that Christ is the culmination of the Law (as represented by the presence of Moses) and the Prophets (as represented by Elijah). Christ was between them and they directed their conversation to Him. God the Father said "Listen to Him", referencing His Son. God mentioned neither Moses nor Elijah when He spoke. Take the hint from God Himself: listen to Christ.

I do listen to Christ.

Then you put yourself in a paradox. Adhering to the Catholic doctrine of praying to Mary, you accept that she responds. As in the case of the story of the priests at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. To deny this is to deny Pius IX and the teachings of Rome.

There must have been divine intervention to save those good men.

Seeing the effects of the A-bomb as it detonated is an unforgettable experience.

Close to ground zero clothes and flesh were blown off bodies, leaving only skeletons.

That is how membership in an organization works. If you fail to believe as they mandate, then you ain’t part of that group.

Rome mandates that you believe in Mary’s immaculate conception, her assumption, bodily into Heaven as well as her receiving and answering prayers.

All of which is heresy.
