VATICAN CITY The Vatican on Saturday fired a monsignor who came out as gay on the eve of a big meeting of the world's bishops to discuss church outreach to gays, divorcees and more traditional Catholic families.
The Vatican took action after Krzysztof Charamsa, a mid-level official in its doctrine office, came out in newspaper interviews in Italy and Poland saying he was happy and proud to be a gay priest, and that he was in love with a man whom he identified as his boyfriend.

So now the libs want not only to allow homosexual priests but to allow them to not be celibate while heterosexual priests have to maintain chastity. Crazy world.
Every social liberal everywhere invariably thinks the discipline of celibacy should be ended. Try to find one person who is for things like abortion, ‘gay marriage,’ and priestess/female clergy who also digs the discipline of celibacy and thinks it should continue. It is one of the very few areas where many conservative non-Catholic Christians and all liberals of any faith or none will agree.

Celibacy has nothing to do with anything..The vow applies to those with heterosexual and homosexual tendencies.
