God Wants His Children Healed
11-6-15 | Frank Broom

God wants his children healed and not only that, but you have a right to be healed. If you look in the book of Luke in chapter 13 you will see that Jesus was teaching when he saw a woman bowed over and he said to her, "Woman thou art loosed from thine infirmity" and he laid his hands on her and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. And the leaders of the synagogue was upset because he healed her on the sabbath, but look at Jesus response, "And ought not this women, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?" Notice Jesus said she should be free because she was a daughter of Abraham and like her you should be free for Galatains 3:29 says, "And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heir according to the promise." So, the same way God felt then he feels now because God said he changes not (Hebrews 13:8). So, that contradicts what some people believe that God is the one putting sickness on them. God does not have a split personality. He feels one way and that is you should be free.

Take that and renew your mind with it because in 3John 2 it says, "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." So, the way you think has something to do with how you prosper in health. And when you see things in agreement with how God sees them then you can exercise your faith to receive. Your thinking effects how you believe and if you think that it's God doing it to you then it is going to be hard for you to receive. God wants his children HEALED.

I agree, but God wants his children healed... in His time.

Jesus tarried until Lazarus was 3 days in the ground. Why? Mary objected to his tardiness and was rebuked. Are we any different?

I thank Him every day for all His promises. He has pulled my feet out of the fire so many times. His Word is Truth!!

1 Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. 2 Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits 3 who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, 4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, 5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. dangerdoc Paul’s thorn in the flesh was not a sickness. Paul said it was a messenger a Satan and not a sickness. Thank You

.45 Long Colt someone’s circumstances do not change God’s word. I don’t judge if the word of God is true by people’s circumstances. His word is true. Thank You

“dangerdoc Paul’s thorn in the flesh was not a sickness. Paul said it was a messenger a Satan and not a sickness. Thank You”

16 And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has kept bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?

I guess I’m a little confused since both of them were stricken by Satan. Paul’s wasn’t a sickness, but her’s was? Actually both are sickness and both are were brought on by Satan.

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

He’s praying that you prosper in health we should all be doing that. We pray for each other that’s what Christians do.

God does use all kinds of calamities, evil, and situations to bring unbelievers to faith and to chastise believers into the proper path. Try reading these verses maybe they will help.

Deuteronomy 8:5King James Version (KJV)

5 Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee.

Proverbs 3:11-12King James Version (KJV)

11 My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction:

12 For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

Job 5:17King James Version (KJV)

17 Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

Psalm 94:12King James Version (KJV)

12 Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law;

Hebrews 12:6King James Version (KJV)

6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Hebrews 12:10King James Version (KJV)

10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

Revelation 3:19King James Version (KJV)

19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

“hard for you to receive”
It’s hard for you to receive because you don’t trust that the Lord is in control of ALL things good and bad. Faith is the key, if you trust in his divine judgement then you will accept your life that he has given you as is.

Philippians 4:12-13King James Version (KJV)

12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Is every Christian who gets sick actually an unbeliever?

Of curse the Bible is true. It’s also true that the health wealth gospel distorts His Word.

Hello Frank,
Thanks for a good post! Yes, the Word of God has no expiry date, and healing is part of God’s plan.

Frank, two things you might enjoy. Torben Sondergaard is a Danish man who runs The Last Reformation

http://thelastreformation.com/

He believes God’s Word, and has developed his ministry around The Book of Acts, and it’s message of healing and creating disciples.

Have you ever read “Rees Howells, Intercessor” by Norman Grubb? Rees was almost a ‘modern day prophet’. He commonly had literal ‘conversations’ with The Holy Spirit. Rees obedience even altered the outcome of World War 2.

I take it that YOU don’t have any ongoing physical afflictions, since you have the answer for everyone else.

I’ve found that to be the case almost without exception.

The ones who have all the answers never have to deal with the issue they’re addressing.

Tell me then, if God wants me healed, then why doesn’t He do it? Or why isn’t He doing it?

And let’s see the blame the victim game begin.

metmon I am not blaming anyone, and I never said I had the answer for everyone. And as for your question “Why doesn’t God do it”, 1Peter 2:24 says, “By whose stripes ye were healed.” God’s word says He has healed now it’s up to each person to believe that and receive it by faith. Thanks

That’s simply blame shifting.

If God wants everyone healed, He can do it regardless of their level of faith.

Jesus healed people who weren’t even looking for it. He sought them out.

So if God wants me healed, why doesn’t He just up and do it?

It’s not like I’m going to fight Him on it and tell Him “No”.
