“and remember it is all in God’s hands...”
Now that’s in God’s hands, what is He going to to, start nuclear war?
from a posted remark:
God is in control b/c He prompts good men & women to do His will. What God wants happens b/c, prompted by Him, people DO things. -Mundabor
I agree; prompted, people do things.
Insofar as I am aware in proper usage the word faggot means either a bundle of sticks tied together or a type of pulled thread work that resembles that (faggotting). It’s only relationship to homosexuality is a slang insult.
If she wants to right an article filled with insulting slang words while complaining about someone else’s language she’s free to do so, but don’t expect me to be impressed by her discourse.
“Insofar as I am aware in proper usage the word faggot means either a bundle of sticks tied together...”
Could its usage come then from the comparison of Sodomites to a bundle of sticks which are used to stoke the fires of hell? Such is admittedly quite a negative connotation, but as the Church has taught for centuries, Sodomy is one of the four sins which cry out to God for vengeance!
As such the committers of such sin are polluting society and do so historically with vile hatred of God and man while forcing the lifestyle on others.
In fact the abuse of one’s body in homosexual acts is possibly the most vile hate speech on earth as one perverts the intentions which God their maker placed in their very own body. It is hate for and rejection of the (Holy) Creator to do the very opposite of the intended design of the (Holy) Creator.
It is thus merciful to frighten the partakers in Sodomy by reminding them of the future that lies in store for unrepentant sinners: the flames of hell for ETERNITY.
I agree with everything you have said in this post.
Yes, it is “just plain vile”.
Yes, “this vile comes from the enemy, not from God”.

PS: I think you meant “humility” :-)
I don’t support faggotry but I do support good writing. That was my problem with that piece. The way it was written was repellent.
Even if men start a war or millions die, God will bring good out of evil in the long run. Romans 8:28
For a secular non Christian argument about this, look up Boethius....
but I do agree that God uses our hands to do his will...if we let him Alas often men prefer to ignore God’s will in order to get rich or powerful. But even then He will work things so that ultimately good results.
