‘Of the church- chapter 25, section 6:

VI. There is no other head of the Church but the Lord Jesus Christ: nor can the Pope of Rome in any sense be head thereof; BUT IS THAT ‘ANTICHRIST’, that man of sin and son of perdition, that exalteth himself in the Church against Christ, and all that is called God

Someone deleted those words from that confession over time.
And it is amazing how ‘Roman’ Christianity is because of it..

The first reformers would be testing the world’s antichrist calendar (named after a pope) if they were around when it came out..
Today, it is the standard.

Nope, they are all human sinners who happen to be Catholic, unlike the MUCH larger number of ministers, scout leaders, teachers, etc who were guilty of the same crimes.. Evil behavior never makes your organization stronger,, but it does not damage the tenets of your church.....Your behavior was wrong but it in NO WAY affects the church as an organization.
