Heavenly Father, we thank You for all of Your kindness to us, in ways great and small.

Lord, we pray that You will protect our soldiers going into harm's way. May You watch over them and keep them from harm.

We lift up our eyes to the hills - where does our help come from? Our help comes from You, LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. You watch over us, and You will neither slumber nor sleep; You will not let our foot slip. Because You watch over us, and because You are the shade at our right hand, the sun will not harm us by day, nor the moon by night. You will keep us from all harm and watch over our lives; O LORD, You will watch over our coming and going both now and forevermore. We praise You for these gracious promises, for the powerful tenderness that keeps and comforts us, through the Name of Jesus Christ who loves through all things, Amen.
