Thank you Salvation for posting this..
I needed to read
Thanks for this post. I have been thinking about ordering Kathleen Beckman’s “God’s Healing Mercy” book. Let me also recommend “Trusting God with St. Therese” by Connie Rossini and “The Way of Trust and Love - A Retreat Guided By St. Therese of Lisieux” by Fr. Jacques Philippe.
The CCC is wrong.
Hatred is wrong. It's equivalent to murder in God's sight.
The passions (feelings) aren’t wrong. It’s what you do with them that is wrong.
Beautiful post Salvation! Thank you.
Hatred = murdering your brother in your heart.
How is that not wrong?
I see it's something you are well-versed on..Oh, the irony!
And the evidence is what exactly?
Show me the links.
And the evidence is what exactly?
Show me the links instead of just throwing out accusations.
Your continuous hateful remarks about Catholics and the Catholic religion—the religion founded by Jesus Christ!
As I thought.
Nothing.
Just another baseless accusation.
Yeah! right! ha ha ha ha ha ha
So if I express an opinion and back it up with Scripture, that’s *hate*?
If you say Protestantism is wrong and you back it up with Scripture, then can I accuse you of hate?
What? Is the Truth the new hate speech after all?
Let’s say someone derided me in some way. Do I hate them? No, I feel hurt and ask the Lord to forgive them. There is no need to harbor hate......ever!
I FORGOT ONE THING THERE: I can ask the Lord, Jesus Christ, to help me forgive them.
I can do three things.
1. First don’t talk about them
2. Be pleasant when you meet them, say “Hello.” (Even if you are still hurt.
3. Pray for them. I usually put their name somewhere behind a picture — or make a prayer list and add them to it. Whenever I walk past the picture I can pray for them, and obviously, if they are on my prayer list I will pray for therm.
