My daughter Kelly has been in the hospital all week fighting a blood infection. She was moved to ICU today and put on a ventilator because of severe pneumonia. She is not doing very well and I would appreciate the prayers of our prayer warriors here on Free Republic.
Thank you for continuing to update us. This has to be so hard on all of you.
Of course, you can count on continued prayers from my home.

Thanks so much for the update. So happy to read of today’s progress for Kelly. May each day bring her closer to complete healing. I hope you are getting some rest.

Years ago I spent many nights sleeping in ICU next to a child in grave peril. It is terrifying.
I’m happy to read she’s getting nourishment again, I hope Kelly will soon be strong enough to sit in that chair as she desired. Continued thoughts and prayers for Kelly. Hang in there, Marlowe.

I pray for our heavenly father gives Kelly complete healing and full recovery. I also that pray our heavenly father gives you and your family peace. And comfort I also pray for the doctors and hospital staff. Who are treating Kelly I ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Our Lord and Savior King Messiah Amen.
Lord God, we pray that Kelly continue to gain strength and that healing of her weak and damaged organs be guided by You, the God who created us and all our parts. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Thank You for answering our prayers for Kelly. Thank Your she is breathing on her own and can eat nutritious food.
May HOLY SPIRIT purify her blood and cause supernatural absorption of vitamins, minerals, proteins, starches, and fats into her body.
Complete the healing on her lungs, liver, kidneys - everything part of her body that needs renewal.
Thank You that You Only Son,JESUS CHRIST won the victory! By His stripes we were healed. Praise His name forever and ever.

As you know we had a good day on Monday when Kelly was taken off the ventilator. However she has had a setback as her oxygen levels were dropping and they have put her on a breathing mask to keep her levels up. Unfortunately with the mask on, they had to stop her feeding because of the risk of aspiration. So she is not getting the nourishment she needs to get the strength to fight all of the problems, especially the strength she needs to cough in order to clear her lungs.
At this point we are worried that she is going to starve to death while they keep her on the mask.
She still has a lot of problems although she has come a long way. I sincerely appreciate all the prayers for her up to this point. She needs to get off the breathing mask and the doctor is going to try to get her off it today so they can resume her feeding.
Please pray that they can get her off the breathing mask and start up her nutrition again. She is very very weak at this point and at this point it is simply up to God and Kelly as to whether she will have the strength to get out of this nightmare.
I covet your continued prayers.
