It seemed impossible. But the emergency room doctors were telling Christy and Kevin Beam that their 9-year-old daughter Annabel wasnt hurt.
Annabel, who had tumbled headfirst 30 feet to the bottom of a hollow cottonwood tree on the familys farm in Burleson, Texas, had no head injuries, no brain damage and no spinal trauma, the doctors said. No broken bones or internal injuriesonly a few minor bumps and bruises. A concussion, at most.
Annabel had spent several hours inside the tree, most of that time unresponsive, as rescue teams strategized the best way to free her. When they finally succeeded, a helicopter airlifted her to a hospital, where doctors ordered numerous scans to assess her injuries.
Only the doctors couldnt find anything. The next morning, they sent the third-grader home with her stunnedbut gratefulparents.
But that was nothing compared to what emerged in the weeks and months that followed.

Even if someone rises from the dead.
Mistaken diagnosis my foot.
This is a happy tears story. And a miracle.
I believe in miracles.
The hilarious thing is that often people who DON’T believe in miracles will ask people who DO believe in miracles to pray for them when they really need a miracle. LOL
They sure are grateful enough for the prayers when you offer them.
Thanks for posting the story,
For those who don’t believe miracles are possible, they have my sympathy....life must really suck for them.
Indeed.
Years ago, my beloved Jewish M-I-L was hospitalized with a very scary prognosis. She was secular, and only went to Temple because of tradition, but she asked me for prayer.
Then she went for more tests, and the tumor was GONE.
Her response was that the doctor must have mixed her original test results with someone else’s.
(sigh. oh well...)
Yes, isn’t it a great story?
Yes, but they’ll get upset if you do it without asking.
Remember how they “prayer shamed” those who posted publicly that they’re praying for Richard Dawkins after his recent medical problem?
Remember what Einstein said? You can live as if everythign is a miracle or as if nothing is.
Now, I wonder which way leads to a happier, more fulfilled life.
The fact that we exist at all on this planet is God created miracle. So yes there are certainly miracles
Yes, I pray Cruz will develop ethics...God, willing.
Oh yes...I do remember that.
Absolutely believe in miracles..
They happen daily everywhere because God is everywhere.
A miracle is simply defined as a supernatural occurrence. If you have never witnessed the supernatural, I pity you...
Who says I never witnessed a miracle? They happen every day.
But feel pity if that is your choice.
I think you misunderstood my post, Larry - I, too have witnessed many miracles - have a delightful and blessed day...
