I was sure it was April Fool. I have emailed back and forth with Mr. Shea, always
unhappily for me, always put off by his tone and attitude. I have to admit both shock, but
also happiness for what he has discovered, and for his lack of holding back in submitting
to all and sundry a heartfelt apology.

On second look, it appears to be a joke, and I've been sorely had.
Anyhow, I stand by my magnanimous laud, and by his puerile
combative tone. I had left him behind a few years ago, and so
he will remain left behind.
