Senator Ted Cruz has often stated that Jesus Christ is central to his life. He talks about how his father had left his family but returned after receiving the gospel, how his mother turned to Christ, and how this changed his life:

Did/does Ted buy into that, and if so to what degree? Dunno. Some sense of this could explain why Ted got mixed up with Glenn Beck.
This sounds too close to name-it claim-it to be credible as a theology. God will often guide our prayers, but it seldom turns out that our lives are just what we planned them to be. God knows about other factors we don’t.
When my wife was very young, her family got involved with a Cruz brand of Christianity... they got swindled out of their money and a valuable piece of land.
You know Cruzs heart? Your his judge? What if your wrong and are slandering a child of God? Ted didn’t lie about Carson. CNN had breaking news and bash said Carson told the media he would not be going to the next states but home. Then he added he would be having a news conference at 9:00. I seen it and thought the same thing. A staffer told him it looked like Carson will be leaving the campaign. It was a mistake. If you hate liars you better check the lies on video trump has told. As far as filthy gain, look at trumps whole life.
The actual picture is complex. It entails the accepted work of a Savior which in turn energizes us to some kind of gospel oriented works. “Deeds” will appear as proof. So it isn’t a cop out. But neither is it a “cop in” to self will.
Yeah, Cruz could have explained it as you did to clear that up.

I don’t know either. Maybe that’s what people should be asking instead of taking steadfast positions either way without knowing.
I have enough reasons to not vote for Ted Cruz without any of this playing a role at all. That’s why I never watched this video until tonight, since I didn’t think it really mattered. Now, I don’t know...
Did you read the article? Christianity Today said he is not into that. So don’t read the article and tell a lie. Trump supporters are just like him. Only trump is studio enough to lie in video and then deny on video he lied. Take a better look at your idol because trump is no Christian and he said so when he said “I never asked God for forgiveness and don’t need to”.

Trump wants to get rid of the Second Amendment
Trump wants to get rid of Nato
Trump is right..he holds the Bible up in one hand and lies with the other.
A few of them were even Americans too.
Listen, lots of people provide jobs, doesn't mean that they have America's best interest at heart. Bill Gates would be God, heck for that matter the government would be God if you want to talk sheer numbers.
There has been quite a lot of that since Trump first declared his candidacy.
