In a shocking interview, Pope Francis compared Jesus Christ to ISIS and said Muslim migrants must breed with Christians to counter “declining birth rates.”

2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people, who are called by my name,
shall humble themselves,
and pray, and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked ways; ,

then will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.

I see nothing about Trump, Hillary, Cruz or Bernie here.......

Proverbs 29:2
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

Since America, it's Churches, it's Pastors, it's people, have turned from God's preserved word, we have rejected righteous authority. IF Trump is elected President, I believe he will be to American conservatives, what Schwarzenegger was to California's conservatives.

A 'Yuge' disappointment.

With that being said, I still feel it's my duty to vote, and simply casting a protest vote, would only insure hill-tila the hun gets into office.

This will be inappropriate but it must be speculated. How many little boys did this man molest and who knows and is using it to control him? Nothing else could possibly explain his actions ave statements.

I was just about to post that the man has gone mad. After reading your post - I'm wondering.

You received your Bible from the Orthodox Church—despite having several Old Testament books deleted and despite using the Masoretic translation of the Old Testament that censors several prophecies of Christ. The Bible is the Book of the Church, not of individuals (especially not heterodox ones). Who do you think understands the Bible and its proper use the best?

Several household baptisms are mentioned in the New Testament. Not only children would have been included, but slaves and their children!!!!

Infant baptism was practiced in the earliest Church, and it only became controversial in the 16th century—among certain protestant sects!!!!! Child “dedication” is a late—and protestant—invention!!!! “Believer’s baptism” is essentially a late invention too. Protestant children usually receive it for no other reason than being “old enough” (11 or 12, usually)!!!!

Orthodox children who have infant baptism, chrismation, and communion, and who are brought to services regularly, have the Holy Spirit working on them through the Sacraments from their earliest days. Their mental and spiritual faculties develop under His influence! It’s hard enough getting college-age youth to remain or return to Church under those circumstances. In the absence of the Holy Spirit, it is nearly impossible!

The unbaptized culture of Europe is dying!!!! Only a return to Europe’s ancestral Faith—and to the Holy Mysteries (Sacraments) can save her!!!! It’s an emergency!!!! The US is not far behind.

Meanwhile, many Southern Baptists are receiving Holy Orthodoxy. The South is the fastest-growing area of the US in terms of Orthodox Christianity. There is something profound happening there!!!!

“2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

At the time this was written, their was no New Testament!!! What he was referring to was Old Testament scripture!

That does not mean that the New Testament is not inspired. But it shows that unaided individuals cannot necessarily interpret the Bible correctly. The Bible is the Book of the Church!!!!

This is what he actually said:

“I am thinking here of Pope Gregory the Great (Editor: Pope from 590 – 604), who negotiated with the people known as barbarians, who were subsequently integrated. This integration is all the more necessary today since, as a result of a selfish search for well-being, Europe is experiencing the grave problem of a declining birth rate. A demographic emptiness is developing.”

Now I still don’t agree that expanding your population with Muslim ‘refugees’ is a wise idea, but he said nothing about breeding or intermarriage. In another paragraph he did mention co-habit, but clearly meaning ‘live alongside’ and not ‘shack up with’.

Unclear and meandering as this pope can be, I have never found even one of the many controversial screaming headlines in his actual words. I get tired of looking, the result is so predictable.

You received your Bible from the Orthodox Church

My Bible was preserved by God Himself.

2 Peter 1:21
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Who do you think understands the Bible and its proper use the best?

2 Peter 1:20
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

God understands the Bible and it's proper use best, certainly, not sinful man. If I had to go to man to get Biblical understanding, I'd end up on the road to total confusion, just look at all the cults out there, who use the Bible to 'justify' their false beliefs.

I choose to go to God Himself, everything God wants me to know about Him and what His plans are for my life, can be found in His preserved word.

Any man/woman who says, "You need to come to me to get correct teaching on God's word," instead of saying, "Hey, read the Bible for yourself, and ask the Lord to guide you into all wisdom." That person is trying to deceive you and put you into bondage, thanks, but no thanks, I want to remain free in Christ.

Yup, any person, place, or thing, that trys to usurp God's authority over His people, by telling them, "Don't bother, reading God's word, you don't understand it, like so and so does, after all so and so has a better education than you do"

There is a big difference between knowing about God, and actually knowing God. I wish more people would think about that.

It’s one thing to make a compulsive horses ass of yourself daily but it’s far more egregious to embarrass the Church of Rome; which has both encouraged and produced many of the greatest minds who ever existed. The Cardinals who voted in this buffoon are beyond a disgrace.

The 'church' has survived worse...

Pope Stephen VI (896–897), who had his predecessor Pope Formosus exhumed, tried, de-fingered, briefly reburied, and thrown in the Tiber.[1]

Pope John XII (955–964), who gave land to a mistress, murdered several people, and was killed by a man who caught him in bed with his wife.

Pope Benedict IX (1032–1044, 1045, 1047–1048), who "sold" the Papacy

Pope Boniface VIII (1294–1303), who is lampooned in Dante's Divine Comedy

Pope Urban VI (1378–1389), who complained that he did not hear enough screaming when Cardinals who had conspired against him were tortured.[2]

Pope Alexander VI (1492–1503), a Borgia, who was guilty of nepotism and whose unattended corpse swelled until it could barely fit in a coffin.[3]

Pope Leo X (1513–1521), a spendthrift member of the Medici family who once spent 1/7 of his predecessors' reserves on a single ceremony[4]

Pope Clement VII (1523–1534), also a Medici, whose power-politicking with France, Spain, and Germany got Rome sacked.

Sounds odd. I’m Christian, and I read the Bible. I can’t think of even one child that was baptized in the Bible.

Entire households were indeed baptized...don't you suppose these included children???
