Prayer request for my father

My dad is in the hospital, in dire condition, after a stroke. While anything can happen, doctors are not talking optimistically.
Any prayers for my Dad, my Mom, and my family would be much appreciated.

I pray that my father isn't experiencing it consciously, and that this land of the in-betweens passes quickly, so that he will soon either experience miraculous meaningful recovery, or, merciful, natural death and communion with God. I pray the same.

Morphine.
My husband never told me about his pain, but I got him on morphine anyway. One the way home from the hospital, in about 20 minutes, he commented: "The pain is gone."
From then on he never felt pain again.
