Francis makes me fear the Catholics will soon be combating all that my Methodists are combating.

Don't worry about that. The Catholic Church moves so slowly that we'll all be long dead by that time.

We Catholics have withstood bad Popes before and on basic doctrine we came out the same way after they were gone. This too will pass. Francis is not forever the Roman Catholic Church is.

1. True enough. The Catholic Church has been around 2000 years and WILL be around another 200,000+ years...that is, forever.
There will be other Protestant denominations, just to combat the goings on of the gay seed planted in too many Protestant churches.
