What is true in Spain, is also possible in Italy. A priest of the Archdiocese of Palermo, where Pope Francis recently appointed a "Bergoglianist" as archbishop, has "blessed" a lesbian couple. "I hope that the church will one day bless homosexual relationships," said the priest.

If he blessed them as human beings I am all for it.

If they want to be blesses by a priest as a human being, then approach the priest as alone. A priest who blesses a homosexual "couple" is in fact blessing their perverted homosexual relationship.

"I hope that the church will one day bless homosexual relationships," said the priest.
Will he hope that one day the church blesses adulterers, murderers and liars too? The Italian word schifoso is the first thing that comes to mind.

You are right on to be “ready”. No one knows the date or the hour but everyone needs to be ready to meet the Lord at anytime. No one is guaranteed a next breath, moment, second, minute, hour, day, month, year on earth. .but we are guaranteed an eternity either in Heaven or hell. Our choice. And it is our choice to spread the gospel. There are many with unsaved family members. http://www.patburt.com

Wide is the road to destruction. Enter by the narrow gate. You are not of this world.

This is EXACTLY what Bergoglio wants. Chip away. Chip away. Push the envelope.

Priests don’t wear frocks.

He should be laicized. He is unsalvageable.

The Beauty of Intolerance, a Book Review
http://hub.me/akFDw

How to stand up to a relativistic moral culture where feeling good is seen as the definition of good, when Christianity defines divinely set moral standards that prevent pain and suffering. How to navigate a culture that defines tolerance as endorsement and is intolerant of Christianity.

Corrado Lorefice is the Archbishop of Palermo, and has the responsibility to relieve this miscreant of his duties and execute whatever other discipline the Roman Catholic Church prescribes.

Said priest should be given one chance to recant. If he doesn't then he should be relieved of his priestly duties.

I've always been interested in the fact that non-Catholic men (and women) of the cloth are virtually ignored when it comes to THEIR peccadillos and grave offenses and it's the Catholic priests who are the targets.
There ARE as many non-Catholic Christians as there are Catholic Christians, so why the disparity?

Wide is the road to destruction. Enter by the narrow gate. You are not of this world.

The proverbial "narrow gate" at the entrance of towns required that CAMELS get into the knelt position and be PUSHED through the "narrow gate." This was when the main gates were closed, of course.

Perhaps this "rogue" priest needs a bit of PUSH through his own narrow gate...and prevent his destruction.

Our Lord explains it all in Matthew 12:26 and Luke 11:18.

“Defrocked” is not Catholic terminology. I presume it’s a Protestant term.

A Catholic priest who commits some serious offense is suspended. If he turns out to be incorrigible, or if his act was also a violation of civil law, he is almost always laicized.

Of course, under Bergoglio, what this priest did will most likely go unpunished.
