“However, if you two think you worship the “god” of muslims, go for it.”

You didn't directly address the above statement. Do you worship the same "god" that Osama bin Laden worshipped?

“Only to those who don’t read the Bible.”

No. He clearly is just another huckster spouting his opinions. He uses a classic technique: He gets the congregation/audience heading in his direction with generally sound reasoning from scripture and then throws in his own opinions as if they are logical extrapolations from the sound reasoning.

By the way, is it true that he divorced his first and second wives, and now his kids’ nanny is his third wife?

I don’t need some false prophet to lecture me....my salvation is assured by the grave of a loving God

- - - - -
Prophetic words from auto-correct? ;-) This is not a salvation issue. It is a rewards issue. It is a do you go through the Great Tribulation and get you head cut off issue. If you believe in your heart that Jesus was raised from the dead and confess with your mouth that Jesus is LORD, you will be saved.

Watch whom you call a false prophet. The Jews called Jeremiah a false prophet, and look what that got them.

"Here it is well to note at once that, given this doctrine of experience united with that of symbolism, every religion, even that of paganism, must be held to be true. What is to prevent such experiences from being found in any religion? In fact, that they are so is maintained by not a few. On what grounds can Modernists deny the truth of an experience affirmed by a follower of Islam? Pope St Pius X.

I own the Catechism of Trent and all of the Baltimore Catechisms. They are contradictory to JP II’s catechism. Check it out

Roger that.

The internet, however, disproves the underlying premise that the Church's teaching is invariant.

On the big stuff, sure. On the technicalities? Absolutely not.

“I own the Catechism of Trent”

So do I.

” and all of the Baltimore Catechisms.”

I own several. I also own The Catechism of the Summa Theologica. I also own the Catechism of St. Robert Bellarmine. I also own The Catechism Explained (which is a great classic). I also own Leo Trese’ catechism. I also own the Exposition of Catholic Doctrine series of catechisms. I also own The Teaching of Christ catechism. I also own both volumes of A Parochial Course in Doctrinal Instruction. I also own Canon Ripley’s This is The Faith. And?

“They are contradictory to JP II’s catechism. Check it out.”

You are contradictory to the Catholic faith. Check it out.

” ;-) Has he had anyone killed to get their wife?”

I bet several souls have suffered even onto spiritual death because of his actions.

He (Mohammed) seduced the people by promises of carnal pleasure to which the concupiscence of the flesh urges us. His teaching also contained precepts that were in conformity with his promises, and he gave free rein to carnal pleasure. In all this, as is not unexpected; he was obeyed by carnal men. As for proofs of the truth of his doctrine, he brought forward only such as could be grasped by the natural ability of anyone with a very modest wisdom. Indeed, the truths that he taught he mingled with many fables and with doctrines of the greatest falsity.

He did not bring forth any signs produced in a supernatural way, which alone fittingly gives witness to divine inspiration; for a visible action that can be only divine reveals an invisibly inspired teacher of truth. On the Contrary, Mohammed said that he was sent in the power of his arms - which are signs not lacking even to robbers and tyrants. What is more, no wise men, men trained in things divine and human, believed in him from the beginning (1). Those who believed in him were brutal men and desert wanderers, utterly ignorant of all divine teaching, through whose numbers Mohammed forced others to become his follower's by the violence of his arms. Nor do divine pronouncements on part of preceding prophets offer him any witness. On the contrary, he perverts almost all the testimony of the Old and the New Testaments by making them into a fabrication of his own, as can be seen by anyone who examines his law. It was, therefore, a shrewd decision on his part to forbid his followers to read the Old and New Testaments, lest these books convict him of falsity. It is thus clear that those who place faith in his words believe foolishly." - Summa Contra Gentiles, Book 1, Chapter 16, Art. 4. Footnote: 1. Sura 21:5, Sura 44:14; Sura 16:103, Sura 37:36 Saint Thomas Aquinas

"Those who die as infidels are damned." -Pope St. Pius X

“Forgive be but I don’t believe you for one second.”

Well, once again, you’re wrong. I own everything I listed and many more books. And, unlike you apparently, I actually read them.

“If you owned those catechisms, and studied them, you would have tossed JP II’ catechism.”

Nope. And if you could think, you would realize that the theologians who put together the Catechism of the Catholic Church DID READ many of those books. Ever notice how often the Roman Catechism is cited in the CCC? No, apparently you didn’t.

The last catechisms I bought I got in the mail a few weeks ago at about the same time. The one from Bellarmine: This is the edition I purchased: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0692758909/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 And I finally got a copy of the newly translated catechism of the Ukrainian Catholic Church which I’ve been waiting for in English for several years. http://www.skeparchy.org/assets/files/Other/2015/CATECHISM%20OF%20THE%20UKRAINIAN%20CATHOLIC%20CHURCH.pdf The Ukrainian catechism is well worth the money and trouble of getting it. It not only is well written, but has some truly beautiful icons that are excellent for studying the faith.

In other words, you can scoff all you like, but I know what catechisms I own. I paid for them. I searched bookstores online and in person to find them. I waited for the last one to be translated and published in English. And, as always, you only have the Kitchen Sink to divert attention away from another of your failures.

That’s right. 413 Catholic books or books with “catholic” in the title. And that’s only what I’ve bought from Amazon. That doesn’t include years and years of voracious buying of books and reading them way before the time Amazon came into existence nor does it include second hand bookshops, garage sales, gifts from friends, etc.

There is ZERO CHANCE you will ever read as many books on the Catholic faith as I have. ZERO. I don’t say that in some sort of chest beating way. I just say it to point out that, as usual, you have no idea of what you’re talking about and you’re never going to catch up.

By the way, the “bible”?

I acquire and read more books in a year than most people read in a decade or two - and that is NOT an exaggeration. When I visit the local used bookstore and someone is looking for a Christian title the people who work there turn to me for help in finding it. The time you waste online posting useless threads about things you don’t understand I spend reading and actually learning.
