| While nothing is hilarious about war, the Battle of Midway is a good parallel to our Election '16. For the Japanese naval force near Midway believed they were a force not to be denied. But in the end, all four of Japan's large aircraft carriers — Akagi, Kaga, Soryu and Hiryu, part of the six-carrier force that had attacked Pearl Harbor six months earlier — and a heavy cruiser were sunk, while the U.S. lost only the carrier Yorktown and a destroyer. I don't wish to make fun of our Japanese opponents not make light of war. Men on both sides of the battle fought valiantly and deserve our honor. And normally we should not taunt our defeated opponents and spike the ball in the end zone. But in the case of Hillary Clinton, her corrupt and traitorous actions against America deserve all the righteous contempt we can muster. And yes, it's ok to laugh hilariously that her political career now rests in Davy Jones' Locker. |
