Leading many astray ... those who cannot recognize the differences between the Olivet Discourse and the Temple Discourse given in the Temple during the day, before the evening Olivet Discourse.
“Were Jesus and his followers simply wrong?” Sowing doubt is satan’s work. The Preterists are wrong, not the Holy Spirit inspired Apostles.
Were Jesus and his followers simply wrong? Sowing doubt is satans work.
You must not have read to completion. He said they were not wrong.
Whom shall we trust? The Bible.
I think the preterists can make a better biblical case for their view than the dispensationalists but in the end it still is not persuasive.
Not you.
I learned a new word today. Thank you.
Most interesting.
So the loss of 2/3 of the world’s population happened around 70 AD? And there was satellite tv in 70 AD, for people around the world to see the two prophets lie dead in Jerusalem, rise, and ascend to heaven?
We should follow God’s word and live each day like it is our last.
“No one.
Even Jesus said that only the Father knows.”
And that is the end of the thread. All the things prophecied must come true prior to the second coming, but only the Father knows when.
I read it. He asserts they were not wrong, but in his twisted perspective for the wrong reasons. He is a Preterist fool.
Did you read my post #3?
Make a better case? Nonsense. The Roman soldiers airing thei banners at the gate is not the same as the anti-Christ standing int he Holy of Holies ... but thenthe uneducated in Bible teaching wouldn’t know the difference, would they!
“All the things prophecied must come true prior to the second coming ...” And what do you mean by ‘all things’? Do you include the Rapture as being fulfilled seven years (at least) before the Second touchdown on planet Earth?
Sorry, I don’t subscribe to either view but I find dispensationalism the least persuasive of all. And I’ve studied it extensively.
Rature and tribulation are topics that are difficult to discuss. I am simply referring to Jesus saying: But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.
Yes.
