Me

A few days ago, after witnessing blatant hypocrisy by certain members of a
particular Caucus in Washington D.C, I decided to start my own Caucus here on Freerepublic.

(Please note: This is a "King James Bible Believers Caucus" thread,
if you disagree that the KJB is the preserved word of God, this is not the thread for you.)

FREE REPUBLIC'S CAUCUS RULES:

Who can post? Members of the caucus and those specifically invited. What can be posted? Anything but the beliefs of those who are not members of the caucus. What will be pulled? Reply posts mentioning the beliefs of those who are not members of the caucus. If the article is inappropriate for a caucus, the tag will be changed to open. Who will be booted? Repeat offenders.

TOPICS: Current Events; General Discusssion; Ministry/Outreach

Only know you by what you said here today.

You are mentioning Catholics on a so-called Caucus thread. Thus, I ask for the Caucus denotation to be removed

This statement reeks of fear and trembling.

That is a presupposition on your part, an after-the-fact rule you'd like to now enforce so that you can therm demonize Freedom Caucus for not agreeing to the proposed Ryan/Trump healthcare bill.

You can have all the fancy-pants "pure" opinions you care to. No one is obligated to show them much mind. How about the door? That's where you're latest mini-screed should be shown. To.

You'd been trolling that little thesis (and other related parts-is-parts of it) for days now. Couldn't find many takers, if what I scanned through in comments on other threads mean much...

They did not have to obtain. If they had, it would have made things worse for the Republican Party than it is now.

What else had Ryan wanted to do?Did anyone oppose just because it was Paul Ryan? Show me now, or admit you were indulging in more than just a wee bit of over-the-top hyperbole.

How about wrapping the mind around this; FR is not GOP echo chamber.

Party unity is important, but it is not everything. That goes right up to the top, to the Presidency. He too (the President) must convince House and Senate. In regards to the latest health-care bill, that did not happen.

You don't like. Obviously enough want everyone to know (you don't like Freedom Caucus). Fine. Whatever. You have an opinion.

It's "hackery" chiefly in your own imagination.

Toss your own hat in the ring. Run for office, unseat the 'HACKS' as you called them, calling them that on a religion forum thread on Freerepublic. One that you started and wanted to be 'caucused' around King James (version) Bible. You've still yet to show me what biblical principle these "HACKS" missed applying. I asked many comments ago, you skipped right post it, la-de-da.

You are out of your depth.

What Sal was doing can be honestly be characterized as seeking to have the same rules be applied to others ---as in the past most particularly, had often been applied to threads she herself was OP (originating poster) of.

Let's not make things more complicated than how the same things more fundamentally truly are.

For better or for worse, it's just the way it is.

That's laughable. It appears to me you refuse to be taken into account for your own words. It's like you run away from them... constantly. Whenever they fail -- cut and run. The come back to try again to see if similar will work the next time. PATHETIC!

I think you've bored most everyone on FR with your little pet theories on how the House Freedom Caucus are the bad guys.

Are you a long-term DNC stealth-troll trying to take down the very Congress critters the DNC loathes the most?

It's either that, or you've got a case of the I hate me some Freedom Caucus itchy's, something fierce.

Most King James Bibles do not carry the original preface by Miles Smith. Smith was also one of the translators.

What is wrong with the New King James Version (NKJV)?

Actually i do not read it much so i can only point to one scripture, but that one scripture makes a heap of difference in the way people view Gods word.

1 Cor 15 NKJV
20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

1 Cor 15 KJV
20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

If we read Romans, ch 8 of most versions, we can see that Slept should be the word in 1 cor 15:20 rather than fallen asleep.

Romans 8 Douay Rheims
29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestinated to be made conformable to the image of his Son; that he might be the firstborn amongst many brethren.

30 And whom he predestinated, them he also called. And whom he called, them he also justified. And whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Past tense in every case which coincides with Slept in 1 Cor 15:20 in the KJV and also the Douay Rheims which was translated from the Latin vulgate known as the first Bible printed and many other versions.

I have an idea most people would like to do away with Romans 8 because it puts a big number of Israelites not necessarilly Jews along with Christ in the resurrection.

That is the only thing i have against the NKJV and i believe it was deliberate like other versions which has the same thing, the reason? hate of Jews

Removing the KJB Caucus label was completely my decision based on a reading of the thread.

Stop making personal comments and demands to posters in the Religion Forum.

Take some time to read the guidelines at my profile page-click on my name on the bottom of this post to see them.

The caucus designation will not be restored to the title.

The caucus designation wasn’t concerning denominations, but translations.

So there was no problem having Catholics mentioned.

Therefore the caucus designation was not removed because of the reason in your ping to me.

See a previous post of mine to see the reason.
