As far as I am concerned, say anything you want in regard to the stated purpose of this thread, but my suggestion is that you not bring in material that is irrelevant to the purpose of the thread. I do the same on the threads you post, trying to keep within the general topics, per topic, that you introduce. The topic of this thread is the King James Bible. What has the Vulgate have to do with it, unless you establish some kind of logical link between the two different versions. I reserve the right to protest if your comments or replies are off-topic and hence immaterial and irrelevant to the issues.

And additionally, the desire of the leader of this discussion was observations on morality of wealth and poverty, as found on the pages of the KJV. Thus the intent was even narrower, and textual criticism does not fit.

Please also note that I have not said anything nasty about you at all, or used vulgar language, so you can't complain about that, either.

Stick with the topic, don't try to undermine it, eh?

I enjoy a variety of Bibles....for general reading as well as study. I think the Lord reaches who he will with whatever he wills through any Bible if one is genuinely seeking the truth and wants to know it.

Often its our approach to the written word that is likely to get in the way. But I also know he will speak to us in various ways whatever the need might be in a crisis situation. I just know his word has never failed me and it won’t others who seek him out as they read.
