As most of you know, I moved back to MA from FL back in 2015 to take care of Mom, who subsequently passed away. Now I live in a small mobile home community on the South Shore, and in the year I have been here, have come to know my neighbors.
Our community has had no shortage of tragedy, but recently there have been two that really stand out.
My next door neighbor, Melanie, has been diagnosed with lung cancer, and for the past couple of months has been enduring the most brutal course of chemo and radiation therapy I have ever seen. When I asked FReepers to pray for her, the response was wonderful. I am asking now that you continue in prayer for her and her loved ones.
Just this morning I found out that another neighbor, Mary, is in the hospital with "swelling of the brain" and pneumonia. She will be undergoing surgery and a trip to a rehab facility. She is a single mom with three boys, two of which are developmentally disabled. Family and friends are struggling to keep her home in order while she is in the hospital.
I have only been here a year, but I really care about these folks, all of whom have been very kind to me.
I promised Mary's son that I would bring this to our group of praying FReepers.

Prayers sent for Melanie and Mary. May our Fathers love and comfort bring them peace and may His healing hand restore them to good health.
I pray that you in some way share with them the Gospel of Salvation that is Christ. I’m praying for their Salvation also, which is the most important issue.

Heavenly Father, You alone are worthy to be praised, You alone are the Great Physician, You alone are in control and in charge of everything. We come in agreement with ltos and others on this site for the health and wellbeing of her neighbors Melanie and Mary. Cancer, pneumonia, have no place in their bodies. We say “be gone!” in the Precious Name of Jesus. Supernaturally guide the physicians and support staff in the right direction. Let their healing be a testimony to others around them. If any family or friends are unsaved, let this be their time of Salvation. Please put a hedge of protection around Melanie and Mary as well as their families. Please place people in their families’ paths that will help support them in this time of need. We thank You for Your Goodness and Divine Intervention. We thank You that there are Freepers like LTOS that bring pray requests to FR. Thank you, Heavenly Father for Your Goodness and Mercy Everlasting. In Jesus Name, Amen

Dear LORD, Your Tender Mercy is evident in the concern of our sister for her friends. May you hear our prayer to bless, heal, help, support and encourage these folks, and to assurace ML that her heart’s call is heard. Thank YOU LORD. In JESUS NAME. Amen.
Father,
We lift up these friends of Your servant “left that other site”, whose heart for her neighbors is troubled by their illnesses and the family stresses these illnesses cause.
When faced with extreme challenges, we throw ourselves on Your grace and mercy, because we are powerless over sin and death, but You are Mighty and Omnipotent, eager to save all souls from destruction and to nourish an abundant life for all believers.
And so we pray first and foremost that these afflicted friends know Salvation and belief in You with all their hearts; likewise, that their families and supporters are convicted of Your mastery over all situations and Your majesty in all the earth.
Bring about Your plan for these individuals and families, Lord God, according to Your Will and Your Way.
May the Holy Spirit prompt and guide all those surrounding them to bring the aid and resources You would have them receive.
In Jesus’ Holy Name,
