I don’t understand why any religion trumps a legal system. That’s just stupid.

I don’t understand why they come here, if they want to bring their own countries with them kit-and-caboodle...

I don’t understand why any religion trumps a legal system. That’s just stupid.

Have you ever read the Bible? Specifically the front part??

In ancient Israel (the only truly Theocratic society to ever exist) Divine law governed everything. There was no "secular law" because the concept of "secularism" did not exist. And "secularism" did not exist because the concept of "religion," as a specific aspect of life separate from the "real world," did not exist.

It's truly disheartening to see conservatives allow their opposition to islam turning them into "enlightenment" liberals. Murder is still against the law. This is a law of Theocratic origin. So is the law against theft. And our very own society once had laws against adultery and sodomy.

When the Left begins attacking Karl Marx for "stealing" the concept of Communism from the "indigenous pipples," I expect to see conservatives defending him as an essential part of "western civilization!"

Why in the world would any conservative want a secular worldview to trump the laws of A-mighty G-d?
