I also pray Sarah Palin has already been delivered out of this movement.
More on the NAR
NAR ping. I appreciate Holly Pivec v much.
Sorry, but though I’ve actually and without planning or even wanting to started speaking saying “Thus says the Lord” (just the once) I cannot go with the idea that Scripture is insufficient.
Scripture can be opened and inspected by anyone. Experiences and latter day revelations that are not attested to with external evidences and proofs cannot be. When it says the Gospel, the faith, has been given once for all time it means it.
Exactly.
Ps 127:1
King James Bible
A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it:....
Thank you...
“No one in their right mind would claim to understand all that is contained in the Bible for us today.”
Which part of that sentence do you disagree with? Since you specifically attacked a brother in the Lord, could you please document which affirmative statements that have been made saying the Bible is insufficient and needs to be replaced or appended.
That is a lot different from saying we need to understand, grasp, and walk in God’s revelation more fully.
There is not enough facepalm left in my facepalm vault to be enough facepalm for these twits.
I did not write this article, you do know that, correct?
Where did I “attack” one of my brothers in the Lord by railing false accusation against their character, anyway?
This NAR cult is a theological problem and people get caught up in it by virtue of cute sayings like “Everything isn’t written down in the Bible!” and “NO one can say they understand all of the Bible!”
There are a lot more idiotic NAR statements like that, believe me.
Oh, my favorite one is, that “they must shut off their minds during a sermon and allow their spirit to absorb things”...
It’s a cunning counterfeit of Hell.
Meet the new gnostics.
Same as the old gnostics.
Holy Laughter, Holy Rolling, Glory Clouds, Gems from Heaven etc. Just google Kenneth Hagin barking for a small example of the evil he brought on the Church.
LOL
Hagin I’m sure, is “tokin’ the Holy Ghost” along with these apostates.
Yes, I know you didn’t write the article...you are just disseminating it.
So are YOU saying Bill Johnson is not a Christian and doing demonic work?
Please clarify, as YOU are accusing “someone” of “something” and I would like to know if it is an individual or an organization, or anyone who loosely associates with one another around particular theological expressions.
To me, a “cunning counterfeit of hell” is a pretty strong indictment and should be specific in nature — not loosely aimed in a general direction.
Yes, I will say that Bill Johnson is manifesting a familiar spirit and demonstrating doctrines of demons and encouraging false prophecy...
all as the Lord told us to beware, in the same way He tells us to beware false prophets who “teach the so-called deep things of Satan”... such as Bill Johnson.
How do I know this? Because Johnson’s teachings and practices “go beyond what is written”.
Please, don’t give me that “touch not my anointed” line. I’m anointed for His good works, too.
We are to be Bereans and “test the spirits” regarding Bethel and Bill Johnson.
Why are you defending Bill Johnson, btw?
Why do I get the sense that Mr. Bill Johnson already has an extra-scriptural “revelation” in mind?
If you’re involved in this church in any way, always test what he preaches and teaches against scripture. If what he says in that capacity is unscriptural, then it is not of God.
Simple as that.
I agree. The spirit behind this thing really twists the Word in surprising ways.
Oh, they don’t tell you right away, but these guys believe they are Apostles on par with the 12 Apostles, and that they have to take dominion over the earth for the Second Coming to occur. (Yes, it’s all about their works that will bring Jesus back.)
Because these NAR people like Bill Johnson believe they are Apostles on par with the 12, this is how they assert that their prophecies or revelations are also on par with the Bible.
I have seen some of these videos. Looks like the kundalini spirit. I dont buy it.
