Father God,

Beyond this earth, beyond all human understanding, You Are. Above all human strife, pain and misery, You Exist Supreme. Before all time, after all time, and in every human experience of time, You Are. We worship you, God of Gods, Lord of Lords, Bringer of Peace!

Without You, this world descends into chaos. We see this in our nation, where chaos has driven You out of our schools, government and public places. We see chaos ascending in our cities, our universities, in our halls of government and in many of our churches—and we see weak, godless men of great earthly power, yet powerless to stop the rising tide of chaos. These and their ruinous neglect, we mourn.

Our joy is in You; our hope is in You! We thank You, Lord, for our President who has brought acknowledgment of You back into his public discourse and prayer into our White House. His Administration has pierced the dragon, and must withstand the shrieks of the Master of Lies. It is for us, followers of Christ, to discern Your eternal calm within the noise.

Keep us steadfast, Father God, in prayer for our nation, for our children and students, for our families and churches, our first responders, our military. We lift up every one of our patriots who stand firm in the face of the storm for Your peace and protection.

We pray for Judge Kavanaugh and his family—and his supporters in the Senate—for the peace that passes understanding, and for Your Will to be done regarding his nomination.

His disciples came and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”

We pray that all undecided Americans will have the scales fall from their eyes on seeing the disgraceful behavior of the godless opponents of our Constitutional order, and of Your moral order. We pray for their salvation, and the conversion of the lost; may the weak in spirit be born again unto You. May they cherish their vote and use it in the coming elections to keep America in the hearts and under the leadership of the People of God. May we bow only to You.

Joining in prayer for our beloved America and for revival and healing in our land.

Lifting up President Trump and Judge Kavanaugh as they are relentlessly attacked by the godless. Grant them Wisdom and courage and strength. Protect them from harm, especially from the Enemy Within.

May Your Provident hand, Lord, turn the heart of the voters in the mid-terms to raise up godly representatives. Protect the integrity of the elections from fraud, social media bias. And grant the electorate a discerning heart.
