Isaiah 12
The Lord Is My Strength and My Song
You will say in that day:
“I will give thanks to you, O Lord,
for though you were angry with me,
your anger turned away,
that you might comfort me.
“Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for the Lord God is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation.”
With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.
And you will say in that day:
“Give thanks to the Lord,
call upon his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples,
proclaim that his name is exalted.
“Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously;
let this be made known in all the earth.
Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion,
for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”
My eyes are tearing up reading these words from Isaiah, so many praise hymns are filled with these powerful words. I sing praises all day and they stay with me through the night.. He truly fills us with song to strengthen and sustain us. Blessed be the Name!

Our Father in heaven, Holy is your name. In your infinite wisdom, holiness, and goodness beyond measure, please move in the hearts of our leaders, our people, our families, and ourselves this day.
We regret our trespasses with deep sorrow. We are not worthy of your mercy. With our whole hearts, we beg your forgiveness upon our nation, our leaders, our people, our families, and ourselves.
May your Holy Spirit fill the hearts of your people and let this day be the turning of the tide of darkness over our nation so that your light will forever shine upon us from sea to shining sea.
Amen.
May God bless you and each of us praying and fasting for our nation today, and show us all this day what we must do to bring healing to our nation.
