AMERICA PRAYER VIGIL - SEPTEMBER 8, 2019

Please join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for President Trump, Vice-President Pence, and for America: Government, Family, Military, Business, Education, Churches, and the Media.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (I John 5:14)

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life;
you stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies,
and Your right hand delivers me.
Psalm 138:7

Loving God,

You satisfy our longing souls. What a privilege it is to take everything to You in prayer. We are blessed beyond measure because You are our God.

Sometimes we pause and think about all the times You have rescued us----times when we were aware of Your hand holding us back, and times when we were completely unaware of what You did to prevent disaster in our lives. We simply marvel at Your faithfulness, Your mercy, and Your grace. Thank You, Father.

Our hearts are heavy over the devastation caused by the recent hurricane. Thank You for all those who are extending a hand of help and words of encouragement to those who have suffered loss. Lord, bring us closer together as a nation through the workings of the Holy Spirit in the Body of Christ.

We pray that You would stretch out Your hand against the wrath of our President’s enemies, for surely they are great in number and emboldened by the devil. Please help our President to be wise through Your wisdom and discerning through the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank You for every creative idea You place in his heart to address the problems our nation faces.

Lord, bring peace to America, to its people, and to our government. Place in us the desire to restore our commitment to You. We cannot comprehend a time when our need for You has been more acute than right now. Give us a passion for the lost, and help us Lord to hasten the day of Your return by working daily to lead others to You. Help us to honor You by spending time in Your presence each day. Bless Your people Israel, and may Your Name be glorified throughout this world. Thank You, Jesus for Your amazing grace and the perfect finished work of the cross. In the Name above all names---Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

Amen!! From my evening prayer time. I read these as led by the Holy Spirit. God sees and hears what is going on here in this country. He is about to bring a frightening revelation of himself to those who are His enemies.

1 O God, do not keep silence;
do not hold your peace or be still, O God!
2 Even now your enemies are in tumult;
those who hate you have raised their heads.
3 They lay crafty plans against your people;
they consult together against those you protect.
4 They say, ‘Come, let us wipe them out as a nation;
let the name of Israel be remembered no more.’
5 They conspire with one accord;
against you they make a covenant—
6 the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites,
Moab and the Hagrites,
7 Gebal and Ammon and Amalek,
Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
