This poseur should not be masquerading as the head of any Christian denomination.
There is only one true LIGHT of the world - and that is our Lord Jesus Christ. We need to look at HIM, and put our hopes in HIM.
And what does that crap line even mean - "Trust in Science"?
We trust in the data, and we trust in the Scientific Method - where an hypothesis is proposed, an experiment designed and executed, and data collected. Refine the Hypothesis, and rinse and repeat as necessary.
"Trust in Science" just works out to 'don't worry your silly head about these things' - just go along with what your betters tell you to do...

Sure, if this means trust Empirical evidence grounded in rigorous scientific research.
But if it means trust the authority of the CDC and Dr Fauci etc, no thank you.
