The Neverending Story
An ongoing debate on Scripture, Tradition, History and Interpretation.

Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue. - John Adams

I'd rather use a Christian Remedy: Pray to God or see a doctor. They are far more useful and neither is sinful.

The avaerage Jewish woman has fewer than 2 children; the average Palestinian, more than twice that. By 2050 the Jews were be outnumbered even with the pre-1967 boundaries.

Very interesting.

Sounds like the American vs. Mexican issue concerning population.
Gives the birthcontrol issue a warrant for review!

(And before anyone calls me "latino hater", look at my page, my wife is 100% Mexican! :o) )

Answer
Water is good illustration from nature. Under 32 degrees - a solid; between 32 degrees and 212 degrees - a liquid; and above 212 degrees - a gas. Yet the chemical composition is the same. H2O. One God who exists as three distinct and separate persons.

Environmentalist wacko's use nature AS God, when all along, nature only shows the mystery and beauty OF God.

Great explination.
Wraps that one up for me (sort of! :o) )

Have someone try a Protestant remedy: hit it with a Bible.

How about a catholic remedy for it? Ask it for a date.

The irony of the eugenics moevment has always been that it asims to suppress the growth of the "lower" classes by depressing their birth rate, but that the upper class makes greater use of birth control and so frustrates the broafer goal of "improving" the population stock. The Mexicans are so dumb they actually think that a child is more desirable than a third car.

The first laws of England were written in Latin, a few years after the acceptance of the Augustine mission to England. Don't try to turn a religious prejudice into a historical dispute; the facts are against you.

My college Latin professor used to say "Latin isn't dead; its just mispronounced".

And I was taught that Latin is mispronounced precisely because it is a dead language. There are two reasons languages become dead - one is that all those who spoke it stopped speaking it because they were wiped out. The other is that the culture was decimated. In the case of the Roman Empire, both were factors. Either way, No one can say for certain today how latin is supposed to be spoken. And the way it is spoken today is pretty much a matter of applied assumption.

I see that. And I'll say it to the others, too ... knock it off! And don't start in with all the "he started it" crap.

Yes, the RCC is having some trouble with pedophile priests and are working to "clean house" now (the Dallas Diocese is a prime example of one Dioces that has effectively cleaned house). I, for one, don't appreciate folks taking cheap shots over this issue ... no matter what side of the coin you're on. It's just not Christian behavior, IMO. Sad.

You probably should let everyone know your SARCASM in that statement before they nail ya! :o)

I'll take 1 Super SUV and 5 kids please. (I don't think my wife would agree after 2 ceasarians in 2 weeks though!!)
