MY support of Israel has little, if anything, to do with faith. It has everything to do with the fact that it is the only democratic state in the Middle East, is currently under attack by the same people who attacked my country, and has been an ally of my country since its modern inception. If that makes me a nutball.....
There is no way that you can talk sense to these Moslem fanatics, the Christian fanatics, and the Jewish fanatics. The communists had a good idea, deemphasizing religions. We don't need to go that far, but we need to impress upon the religious leaders to calm down this hysteria. Please! Religion, the way I know it, was to do good unto others, to forgive, to love. The Moslems and Jews don’t teach much of that in their house of worship, but the Christian do nothing but teaches people to be humble, and forgiving? How did these militant fundamentalists got this way, is very strange.

I am not sure about this, but isn't it at the sacrifice of the red heifer that every Jew in the entire world must go to Isreal for the pruification or they are no longer considered Jewish or something like that?
