One Way Out is a live cut that follows three studio tracks on the album Eat A Peach. It's about a guy who is having an affair with a woman whose husband has apparently come home. He's
starting to wonder if she's worth the hassle, and one thing's for sure - he's not going out the front door, since he doesn't want to meet up with her man. Allman Brothers Band - "One Way Out" (Live At Fillmore East, June 27, 1971)

"Blue Sky" is a song by the American rock band the Allman Brothers Band from their third studio album, Eat a Peach (1972), released on Capricorn Records. The song was written and sung by guitarist Dickey Betts, who penned it about his girlfriend (and later wife), Sandy "Bluesky" Wabegijig. The track
is also notable as one of guitarist Duane Allman's final recorded performances with the group. The band's two guitarists, Duane Allman and Dickey Betts, alternate playing the song's lead: Allman's solo beginning 1:07 in, Betts joining in a shared melody line at 2:28, followed by Betts's solo at...

"Jessica" is an instrumental piece by American rock band the Allman Brothers Band, released in December 1973 as the second single from the group's fourth studio album, Brothers and Sisters (1973). Written
by guitarist Dickey Betts, the song is a tribute to Gypsy jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt, in that it was designed to be played using only two fingers on the left hand. Betts wrote the majority of "Jessica" at the band's farm in Juliette, Georgia. He named it after his daughter, Jessica Betts, who was an infant when it was released. She had bounced along to the song's...

Gregg was the fourth member of the band to die, but the first of natural causes—though his past lifestyle certainly contributed to those causes. I
say American music pioneer because categorizing him in blues, rock, or especially Southern rock is pointless. Allman's influence goes far beyond Lynyrd Skynyrd and Phish. The Allman Brothers was made up of only one Allman brother, Gregg, far longer than not, and the group has re-created itself and been reborn at least twice, and very successfully.
