SEATTLE (AP) — A Seattle area man detained by immigration agents despite his participation in a federal program to protect those brought to the U.S. illegally as children admitted to having gang ties, the U.S. Justice Department said in court documents filed Thursday. Ramirez "stated 'no, not no more,' when asked if he is or has been involved with any gang activity," the government said in documents filed in U.S. District Court. Lawyers for Daniel Ramirez Medina, 23, called the allegation "wholly fabricated." The court documents also said Ramirez, who is Mexican and arrived in the U.S. at age 7,...

An illegal immigrant covered by former President Obama’s Deferred Action for Child Arrivals (DACA) program was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents after they said the man is a “self-admitted gang member.” Daniel Ramirez Medina of Mexico, 23, was arrested by Seattle ICE agents at his father’s home. Medina qualified and obtained a temporary work permit under Obama’s DACA program since he was brought to the country illegally as a child. Despite initial mainstream media reports that Medina’s arrest by ICE may have meant that President Donald Trump had subjected DACA recipients to deportation, ICE spokeswoman Rose Richeson...

A young immigrant protected from deportation under an executive order issued by President Barack Obama because he’d been brought into the country as a child faces deportation following sweeping raids launched by the Trump administration. Daniel Ramirez Medina, a 23-year-old with no criminal record, was taken into custody in Seattle as part of last week’s raids that led to the arrest of 680 people, 75 percent of whom, Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly said Monday, had been convicted of a crime. Ramirez was picked up by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers who’d arrived at his home looking for his...

The man who murdered four people in North Carolina, including a former contestant on “America’s Next Top Model”. Senators Thom Tillis and Chuck Grassley, confirmed that accused murderer, Emmanuel Jesus Rangel-Hernandez, was a known gang member and had been arrested on a marijuana possession charge. They also confirmed that in 2012 when Obama enacted his DACA program, the immigration service halted his deportation. Obama and the democrats believe the life of one illegal alien is worth much more than the lives of four American citizens. Grassley and Tillis wrote to Jeh Johnson:

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley sent a letter on Friday to DHS Sec. Jeh Johnson questioning whether the suspected killer of Mirjana Puhar, a former contestant on “America’s Next Top Model,” was an illegal immigrant who applied for amnesty under President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). Emmanuel Jesus Rangel-Hernandez, a 19-year-old reputed gang member, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Puhar, also 19, and three others in Charlotte, North Carolina earlier this week.
